Do you think he was guilty enough in his dealings to be treated as a scapegoat?

Probably because he was sick and tired of all the whiners and critics and pissy people who think they could do his job better than him. He probably decided it wasn't worth the aggravation on a personal level. I know I wouldn't want a job like that!

Do you think it might bring him home? Do you support that idea, or do you approve of his station in Iraq? What are your thoughts on Rumsfeld and the part he's played in the War on Terror?

I would venture to suggest he and his "cohorts" were the architects of an illegal war, and since such people are being held responsible for their actions (think Saddam), it is quite possible Rumsfeld and others in Bush Administration may, at some future date, be prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

You just described my fondest, dearest dream! Oh what faith in humanity, our country, and the democratic process would be restored to me if such events took place.
