euphemism True. Neither myself nor my husband have nay family close by, and I do feel bad sometimes, that my kids miss out on the big extended family that i grew up with. Plus grandparents make great free babysitters.

euphemism I never wanted children, really. But accidentally had two. :) And while I sometimes long for the life I'd had planned for myself before them, they are my greatest joy, and every other pleasure is superficial compared to the meaning they bring to my life.

euphemism Sort of. It's easier to love family from a distance. Now that we live 2,000 miles away from each other, it's easier to avoid the senseless scrutiny and appreciate each other.
