What Do You Use Swiss Cheese For?

Its funny to hear some one else that has the same issue as me. LOL. My husband loves the stuff I personally cant stand it. It stinks and it dont even taste that good. I would much rather have Sharp Cheddar on my sandwiches or even no cheese rather than using swiss. My husband dont like any other cheese on sandwiches other than swiss. We have learned to just buy his cheese and then mine lol. He dont eat mine and you guessed it I dont eat his ewww yuck.

I LOVE Swiss Cheese, and love it as a Ham and Cheese sandwich. I recently discovered how great it tastes for a Cheeseburger. I used to always and only use American Cheese for my hamburgers. Then one day I cooked up a hamburger and noticed..gasps...I didn't have any American Cheese but Swiss...so used it instead...now won't eat a cheeseburger without Swiss Cheese.

I use Swiss cheese when I am making a Reuben sandwich or a Ham and cheese, but that it about it. I like it ok, but I think other types of cheese go better on most things.

i like it real well on sandwiches & don't mind it at all on a salad.

i love swiss cheese sandwiches especially if it came with caramelized onions, a little mustard, mushrooms and cibatta bread! Yum! Aside from that I think swiss cheese is also good on pasta and on fruit slices.

You can give me Swiss Cheese and I can put it on every thing I eat. I love Swiss Cheese.

I only like swiss cheese on two things. Melted on top of ham for a Ham & Swiss sandwich and Roast Beef the same way. Other than that I am like you I don't care for it. And I could do without it for those two if something better is available! LOL It should be titled the useless cheese!

When I make monte cristo sandwiches I like to use Swiss. Or on a burger with mushrooms. Swiss is definitely one of those cheeses that I like on or in things but not all by itself.

I use swiss cheese for mushroom and swiss burgers. It is really good! other than that I can't think of anything else I would use it for.
