Do you consider yourself immaculent, messy, or somewhere in between?

I am close to in fact almost immaculate ( I have never heard of immaculent?). I cannot stand messiness. I think my home has a comfy lived in look without being messy.

If there was a scale I would be bordering on the messy side! It's not that I don't take pride in my appearance, it's just that I can't be fussed with spending ages in front of a mirror making myself look immaculate. I don't have the time, inclination or the patience! People take me as they find me, if my hair ain't straight or my clothes are not in perfect order so be it! I am what I am, take me as you find me, and that's it, I don't dress to impress, if I am comfortable that's the important thing!

I'm probably somewhere in between. I am certainly not a neat freak or immaculate. I am a mess when it comes to my office...there are papers all over my desk. But the rest of the house is pretty clean most of the time. What about you?

I want to apologize about that because I am not always searching the topics before I post. However I can assure you , I am not a copier....I have been here a long time and have always got my own questions and thoughts, and have not run out of ideas yet. I would not stay here if I felt I had to copy. I do feel that the discussions are very close to the same but exactly, no, I asked very specific questions ....Have a great day and happy my lotting!

I'm an in between person. My floors are always clean. I was a nanny years ago and their mother while a wonderful lady, and quite busy, always had the dirtiest floors. The rest of the house was fine, but her carpet and then her tile in the bathrooms were gross. I cleaned them once, and she got angry. I guess she thought by cleaning them I was saying she wasn't doing a good job maintaining her house.
After that I became a stickler for clean floors where I lived. Her house had such gross floors it makes me sick when I think about it. The part that I am messy in is that I don't always hang up my clothes. I'll put them over a chair, or on my bed, and never really hang them up.

I am somewhat inbetween. I like my house to be all picked up all the time....I don't like dishes in the sink and I really can't work on anything else until everything is in it's place. That is most of the time. I now am a little bit more lax about some things. Like if the room where the grandkid plays is messy I might just close the door. And sometimes my craft room looks like it exploded but usually I stop inbetween projects and reorganize again.

I would say that I fall in between. I'm not messy but I'm not immaculate either. No one has ever had to tell me this, it is just something that I know.

I would have to say that I am in between. Cleaning in not a priority, but living in a mess is not what I will do either.

My own habits tell me I am messy. I would love to be tidy, but immaculate would cause too much tension, in my opinion.

Generally I am a very clean and organized person. Since developing fibromyalgia i am not able to keep up the house like I would like and it drives me crazy.
Drives my family crazier cause I always freak out and they are not as clean as I am!!!

I would have to say I am in between the two. If I was immaculent it would drive me crazy trying to keep it that way for sure. I have a bad habit of not throwing things away when I should and I do have some clutter in closets and drawers. I like to say that my house has that "lived in" look. haha

Oh no, I am totally neurotic. I have been since a child and I am passing it on to my twins too. It is rare if I allow messes to occur in my home. Or, if I allow a toys to remain on the floor for longer than 2 days.
I am a proud neurotic too.
I mean, someone has to be and usually, employers are looking for someone with this quality, right? LOL

I'm not a neat freak but I don't like to have a messy house either. In comparison to my MIL I'm messy. But in comparison to my friend Sharon, I'm am very tidy. So I guess I'm somewhere in between. I'm particular about certain things (always wear makeup when I go out, I vacuum 2 times a day - my dog sheds!, etc.) but not so picky about others (my car isn't always the cleanest and I sometimes just shut the door on a messy room) . How about you, girlfriend?
