What time of day do you feel that your mind is the sharpest and that you get more done and faster?

I don't have any certain time of day or night or even day of the week where my mind is at it's sharpest. Some days it is mornings, others it is afternoon and there are even some nights when I feel like my mind is working at it's best. I guess I am weird huh? LOL LOL

Hi there, The truth be told, the answer to that question is right about now! For me personally that is about 4:00 PM. Well, not exactly 4:00 PM on the dot, but early afternoon through early evening is my best time of the day. As others have already stated, I'm definitely not a morning person as my brain has not yet woken up, and I'm definitely not firing on all cylinders. We don't want me Mylotting when I am suffering from brain freeze, trust me, I tried to, don't think I managed to put 2 coherent sentences together. I had an excellent Mylot day yesterday, actually, I managed to top my personal best earnings for a day! Today isn't going as smoothly though. I am tired, grumpy, and in pain ugggg so sorry I'm not at my best, I thought I had gotten it all out of my system, with my friend, she was here this afternoon, and boy did I ever let go. Not in a bad way, I just had to blow off some steam as I've got a lot of things happening at the moment. I just don't like being like this, because most of the time I try to make the best of wherever I'm at... It just isn't coming easy today though.... So sorry I got up on a bit of a tangent again, but thank you for being there and giving your support through these message boards. Take care, and happy Mylotting!

Well, thank you very much for the compliment but, I certainly have my moments and this was definitely not one of my better ones. I do the best I can, but man! I was in one foul mood that day...

I would say the mornings. I don't sleep a lot, and I get up fairly early. On average I wake up at 5am. I'm good to go, I'm not grumpy or slow in the mornings. So I like to get what I need to do out of the way. Like this morning I went grocery shopping. If I don't do it in the morning, I probably won't get it done. I start to run down around noon.

Late morning, early afternoon probably. In the first part of the morning, the brain hasn't woken up yet and at the end of the day I'm tired.

Dawn, it would seem that I'm not meant to respond to any of your discussions today. I have tried several times to post responses and my ISP chooses that time as an appropriate one to kick me off the Internet. Rather frustrating day here, I'm tired, sore and ticked off! Aren't all my fellow Mylotters really glad the moment, that you only have to interact with me over your computer. I wouldn't be very much fun to live with today!

Between 8pm at night and 1am in the morning is my most productive time of the day my friend, I am more alert, more awake and can get more done, my brain seems to be more active at night, I guess I am nocturnal because I am fit for nothing in the mornings, I am not a morning person, and I used to aways choose shift work, before 10am I am a zombie! Exercise, i.e. going to the gym I am best between 12 and 4, maximum efficiency. Brain power 8pm and 1am! Dormant state 2am-10am LOL! That's me!

I am not a very early morning person either, I am better after 10 am lol I am not one who wakes up in two minutes and I am not one that likes thinking before 9 am lol I have answered the phone very early , had conversations, and couldnt tell you later who or what they were about lol

I think I am more productive at night. I can motivate myself during the day but I seem to have more energy at night than I do during the day.

I am at my best before 8:00 am. I am not getting much done online, though, because of my job change. I am looking forward to the increased earning from outside the home, though.

It would have to be when my twins are in daycare or down for the evening. I mean, honestly, what can I really do when my twins are wanting Mommy to play with them and do Mommy stuff...The nighttime is the best time for me to get anything, writing, done.

Early morning about an hour after I get up....and then again in the early evening. I can get alot done in the morning especially when I am charged up and ready for working. I hit a slump in the early afternoon....then after supper I get another spurt!

If I've had a good night's sleep (this is the key) then the morning can be really productive. Especially around the house!

definitly mornings! I can wake up at % in the morning and get going. Once ther's no more light outside, I feel tired and dizzy, and have to go to sleep. All morning I can be on my feet, no problems at all.I usually am, running around after the kids, shoppings, cleaning, cooking, full time job, and my other "jobs" can be named here to feel 10 pages. So, probably, that's no wonder I'm tired in the evening.

It is great to be one of those people who can just wake up and be awake and jump right on the day, as for me, I need my coffee time first lol Yea, evenings are my slowing down time too.

Late morning from 10am onwards through 12 noon. And then late afternoon at about 4 pm. After that it depends how much i have to do and how late i will take to finish the tasks. Best times are before meals and an hour after meals.

That is a great time because for me I am really awake at those times. I also agree with you because the meals can make me want to take a nap lol
