I'd really hate to seeing as money is a big up at the moment, and i could probably deal with my computer for a little longer, but i cant seem to understand, even when i dont download anything anymore etc, that my computer is getting slower and slower, the graphics are getting worst and worst. I think my computers dying on me haha.
I've replaced my ram / brought more... but... its still just so slow (no its not that overcrowded)...
Anything else you can suggest OTHER then a new pc? (I also defrag so leave that alone ;])

Unless the websites you're viewing has an increase in computer requirements (which I think is VERY unlikely) perhaps it may be time instead to do a full reformat? It may sound though that you have a virus or unnecessary processes that is taking up your RAM and harddisk space. Perhaps clear those up before you reformat or get a new computer?

I agree with the above poster and to expand on this:
1) Go to Start menu, RUN and type in 'msconfig' (without the quotes) Go to the startup tab and unselect software you do not want running at during startup. The more programs you have at startup, the more longer it takes for your computer to load when you turn it on. By deselecting programs, you can choose to load them when you want to (because you may not want them loading at start up everytime)
2) Go to your Windows folder then Prefetch and delete the files in there. These are temporary files which try and speed up the most commonly used applications on your machine. However, this folder tends to get overcrowded and will actually slow your computer down if not cleaned every few months.

Hey,
One thing that you might be able to try is to format your whole computer. If you can backup all your stuff then you are all good to go. You will be surprised at what a quick format could do to your speed. Hope this helps, happy MyLotting!

could be your HDD is also dying, not meaning your whole PC. although i can't recommend anything to check if this is the problem, it's better to buy a new one and keep the old for back up purposes. anyway, hope it helps.
