I'm an african and i reside in africa..paypal is not available in my country of residence..well i like the site and i'm not really here for the money..but still if they pay members for using the site I think I should get paid tooo..I sent a message through contact us to mylot explaining my status and wanting to know if i will get paid and how but i did not get any response yet..I like the members of mylot and i like the discussions, the extra earning is also something...
do you think I should stop mylotting even if the members welcome me and the site itself doesn't???

do you mean you can't register in paypal or will not able to withdraw the payment ?
if you still can register in paypal but not able to withdraw, don't panic.
about 1 or 2 years ago, my country - indonesia - wasn't able to withdraw the paypal fund to local bank and also not easy to get verified using Indonesian Credit Card. But since we still can register in paypal, we are registered in paypal. To verify we bought VCC ( Virtual Credit Card ) . To withdraw the money, we "sell" them by help our friends buying something in the internet and they will pay us with real money or we send our paypal fund to others paypal account and they will pay us with real money ...
and now, my country already can withdraw from paypal .. some of my friends still "sell" their paypal fund ...
about MyLot ... i think you should stay here .. there's a lot more thing here not only paidpost .. you can make friends, find another opportunity etc ..

Excellent advice to anyone that was not aware of other options to get paid through paypal.

I used to feel the same way because MyLot does not pay all that much but, because I keep coming back I realized that I love it here and it has nothing to do with the money. Having said that I understand that if everyone else gets paid you would like to as well. Your options are:
1) Keep MyLotting and letting your earnings accumulate and hopefully PayPal will eventually become available in your country
2) Stop MyLotting altogether
3) Keep MyLotting without any relevance to the money
I would choose the first option, I hope you stay.

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. I think, your problem might have been resolved by now. However, I think you should remain at mylot, even if paypal is not available in your country. I'm from India and paypal was not available in India, when I joined mylot about two years back. But now it is available in India and I hope soon they will be adding more countries.

'Should I stop Mylotting???????' I wonder the same thing sometimes! But it sure does help me pass time at work or in my spare time at home (when chores are done and barbie is tucked in..) and I somehow often find myself logging in again... You don't have to be here all the time, I often pop in and out when I can and while doing other stuff like listening to music online or while using other sites; it does somehow enhance my online experience...

You cannot use paypal or you cannot withdraw? If the last, then is not so bad and things may change.
So, mikky, just wait and see, you may get an answer from MyLot. i am sure they are not discriminating you and there is a strong reason for doing this.
I like this place and would be very happy to talk with people from all over the world, without exception. I am sure that Mylot stuff is striving to do the same.
Hope you will stay with us and this paypal problem will be solved soon.

On one hand, you like the mylot a lot and you enjoy to be with other members. You are happy.
On the other hand, you got paid from the website. That really is a bonus.
Then it is up to you to decide what to do.
Just have fun~~~

I think that if you like Mylot you should stay here, even when you canĀ“t get paid by Paypal. I can get paid by Paypal in my country, but my idea is not to be paid, but to use my Paypal money to buy things through Internet (books, for example, that in most countries don't pay custom duties and can be received through the mail service).

If you like it here and have friends here I'd continue to post. Mylot is constantly making changes and your time will add up and eventually they may have another way of paying. In fact I wrote to them about this very thing, they said they plan to add other pay sites but it has to wait for now.
So if you have friends and you like it here, stay, have fun, and enjoy lotting.

Yes it is very difficult for residents of non-paypal countries to receive their payments from Mylot. One may think of waiting till his area comes under purview of paypal.

can see the quandry you are in and it must be so difficult for you. its a pity no-one from mylot has contacted you. i think that is quite bad. i must admit i ve been a member for over a year, i was originally in it to earn money, but dont really get time to do much input as i am in full time work. but its fun to read about other people and i do find it both interesting and fascinating hearing about their lives. but please dont stop mylotting. it needs people like yourself to keep badgering who ever makes the rules in mylot and get them to change them so you are able to collect your money. good luck !!

If there's no other way for you to get paid because the site doesn't offer options to withdraw your earning from where you're from, then you can stick around as much as you like as long as you're not here for the money. You can create a paypal account and not verify it, you'll still receive your payment. You can then spend your paypal money on the internet - ebay, amazon, wherever you want that accepts paypal.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Yeah, even you can get paid, you still have a lot of friends and fun here!
I like mylot because members can make their own categories and let people join them, that's why we have "computers" and also "computer", "cellphone" and "cellular phone", which are the same

i don't think that you should stop mylotting... i enjoy myself a lot here... not because of the money... but the friendship, fun and knowledge that i get from here... i think you can contact the admin and ask them for another payment arrangement if paypal is not accepted in your country... i'm sure they can help you out with something... take care and have a nice day...

The administrators of mylot reply only after a few weeks sinc they have lots of mails pouring in per day and you would get in the reply from them soon if paypal is not available also you can sign in for paypal and transfer the account paypal to some other account but it costs a extra one dollar for you but if you are spending it you will surely receive it and i think for details you can check out mylot itself...
Happy Mylotting

Hi Mikkymyde,
you are the one who said that you are welcome and you like the site very much. If your stay will allow you to learn more beyond any monetary exchange, wouldn't it be worth the stay?
I always have stayed and go from mylot but what makes me come back more is the connection I've built with new friends which makes my stay here worth. I learned a lot and I guarantee you will as well.
Hope to see you stay!
Smiles & Cheers,
JNY
