Almost nobody answer my discussesions

Hello marfidec and welcome to myLot. Sometimes it take a while to learn what people like to discuss.. I think that at first we all have only one or two people respond to our discussions and all have some that get no responses at all. I know I have posted discussions that I thought would be interesting but got no responses so hang in there and keep posting.

There could be several reasons. By what I can see you haven't added anyone to your friends. Having a large group of friends on here can help with getting more than a response or 2. A great way to get friends is to request their friendship, especially after they respond to your discussions or you respond to theirs. Having similar interests helps too. Start adding as many interests as you can to your list of interests. And when starting discussions list them under the appropriate interest. Avoid listing them under "general" as it may not be found by others as easily. And last, but not least, post, post, post! But be sure to post quality discussions/responses. The more you post the more exposure you'll get, thus getting more responses. PS You might want to upload an avatar as some people on here are weary of responding to discussions seeing the default avatar. I hope this helps! Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear this has happend to you marfidec. Let me first say welcome to mylot I do hope you enjoy your time here and make alot of new friends along the way. I personally havn't been on mylot for quite a while for I have been busy with alot of other things that have been going on. If I was here and came across your discussions I would have answered them. I will have to take a look back through all the discussions and see what you have and respond to them. Don't give up on hope marfidec just give it some time and you will get the responses you are looking for. I remember when I first started and was starting my own discussions I wasn't anymore than 2 to 3 too and would wonder why. In time I gradually got more Keep posting and in time it will come ok? good luck to you and have fun take care.

Well, I don't think there are many people who have went naked in public. Try to pick a wider variety of topics. It is all hit and miss here.

well I have to say, I go into the new discussions and pick out the ones that I have something to contribute too... but I have only been here for just under a week, so I am sorry to hear that many people dont respond to your discussions. I have started a few and some get grabbed right up and I get lots of responses...and some have been just a one or two ...because it didnt either catch there attention, or didnt fit what they could talk about.
