having his or her pictures taken? Will they pose for you and do many things to get different kind sof pictures where you need the sports setting on your camera to get them all?
I do, my grand-daughter is a camera hog, so to speak. She absolutely loves having her picture taken.
She was not the first in her family that loves this type of thing. She has a couple of brothers that are just as much a camera hound as she is. One of them just has to be in every picture doing something silly or otherwise, lol.
The only way you can take a picture without him in it is while he is in another room or you have to tell him to stay out of the pictures.
So do you have any children that just love taking pictures? Or do you have one that is shy as we do as well that doesn't like or care for having her picture made?
Thanks so much for all replies.

Hi moondancer, I tried to respond to this last night and off it went into cyberspce not to appear so I shall try again. All three of my children are absolute posers although I have never liked my photo taken much. My girls when they were younger both did do modelling and their baby bro seems to be taking after them for wanting to be in front of the camera all the time. I will upload a pic of him posing LOL. Huggles. Ellie :D

aaah how sweet ellie. I just love it when they do let us take pictures. That is the sweetest one. I just love it. I have tons of my grand-daughters and of the others as well. I could never post them all as I have many.
Thank you for the lovely pic and the smile I have on my placid face now.

Hi ya moondancer
I have three boys and they are very photogenic and love have have their picture taken but it is very hard to get all three of them together at the same time, looking at the same and even have their heads in the right direction! All three of them will beg me to take a picture of them if I have got the camera out!

That's really nice that they will take a picture together. I know it's not a usual thing to have three that will all love taking pictures. You are lucky in that since. I do like posed pictures but many I like are candid shots. They are much more natural. Thank you for sharing.

I have an eight year old son who likes to have his picture taken. He is natural poser. He seems to be photogenic, a quality that I lack since I don;t like to have my pictures taken. I always try to hid between others.

Thank you ronald, you are sweet to reply to my post. I do know what you mean if you look at my pictures here you will see I have at least one child that is the same way as yours. I'm the same as you. I don't take good pictures it's like being on tv it looks like the picture adds at least 15 pounds to me or the likeness of me...lol. Yep, I'm a fluffy lady but more to love.

All of my kids apart from my eldest love having their picture taken, he takes after me as I hate having my photo taken. As soon as I pick my camera up they will be there asking me to take pictures of them so if I want to take a picture of an object I have to sneak my camera about so that they do not see me with it!!

lol, you sound like me sneaking around trying to get pics of the older ones and the others that don't like pics taken. I also don't like taking mine and I know how they feel but if we didn't have pictures to remind us of the good times and to show them later, well you know...it wouldn't be any fun then.

Both of my children love to have their picture taken. And if you ever get them started they will not stop. After about 50 pictures they might give it up but not usually. They love pictures. They love taking pictures and they love having their picture taken. They will do anything to get their pictures taken!!

Well I am one of the lucky ones. My daughters love to pose for the camera, as soon as they see it they start posing like they are in a movie. It definatly makes it easier for me than most parents, especially during special occations. I love taking pictures of them, I bring my camera with me almost everywhere. I have even mangaed to get enough pictures together to put together a scrap book. Now the only problem is trying to find the time to put it together,LOL.

Yes, you are lucky. It is so frustrating when you have some that won't smile don't want their picture taken and alway give you that fake pasted on very fake looking smile.
I love taking pictures I a hug camera bug. I usually take it with me when I leave the house to. I can snap over 200 pics in less than 10 minutes and usually do. lol

All of my kids love getting their picture taken. They all have that smile they put on whenever a camera comes out. Sometimes they will get mad if you are taking candids and they look silly. They would rather have their smiling face on when the picture is taken.

sunshine that is so funny. I have a couple that put on that fake smile that I hate so much...when they see that you are taking a picture of them. I stop and say please don't do the fake smile. They look at me real funny and I take a picture...lol it is funny when they don't want to smile and somehow we get them to.

My three youngest who are 2,8 and 11 love to have their pictures taken. They will always pose for the camera. They do seem to take a nice photo even if i do say myself. My 17 year old could not care less about having his photo taken he is very laid back.
But it is a total different matter when it comes to my 15 year old as soon as he sees the camera he will run the other way. He hates having his photo taken and will do anything to avoid it.

Lol, how cute. That is the thing we have going on here. I have some older ones and a couple of younger ones that do the same, run or put their hand up if they see a camera within smiling distance...lol.

My youngest has always love having her photo taken, now though her older sister has also decided she likes it so they fight to get infront of one another for having their photo taken! we had to make a new rule that they do a few together and then take it turns to have photos taken alone!

My five year old son loves to be in front of the camera. Especially the new digital one that we now have had for a couple of months. He even asks to be photographed or video taped!
He is such a ham in front of the camera. He pretends he is taking pictures also. I thought that most kids loved to be in front of the camera. I still don't mind my photo being taken from time to time. It is lots of fun to do.

I guess it's each to his/her own. My daughter has 7 children and we have some of each, some love taking pics and some don't. I have older ones that absolutely do no want their picture taken. I guess the older they get the more they don't want them. I myself don't like my picture taken and don't think I ever really did. I'm more the shutter bug type myself. I love taking pics. Always the one behind the camera not in front of it, having pics of me are rare.

We take so many photos that the kids are pretty well trained to it these days..not just our own kids, either: friends, neighbors, kids at schools, clubs, church: they see us coming and they start to preen!
It is getting hard to take candid and natural photos.

That is funny. I'm the same way, I carry my camera everywhere when I leave the house no matter where I'm going, lol. Even after all of this time I still have one that acts the joker. Thank you for sharing.

I have 8 kids and I would say that about half of them love to be in pictures. The other half would prefer it if you did not even show them the camera. And why is it that all of the girls love to pose but the boys have to do something silly in them? It is hard for me to get the boys to settle down enough to get a really good picture of them. But my daughters would all pose and it had to be right.

eight, oh my you sound like us and the same problems too, lol. The boys will throw up two fingers behind the heads and make silly faces and do some stupid things when you want a good picture they love messing them up. The girls don't do this.
I have bought most of them their own cameras and now they can experience the same thing we do, lol. Pay backs in the instance are fun.
