I recommend going to one with a buffet so that you pay a set price for all you can eat, and then you can try all kinds of different dishes. Then try every one that looks good to you. I like the buffets just because I have a hard time deciding between so many things that I like.

There are so many delicious things on the menu at my favorite chinese restaurant.
I tend to order Moo Shu Pork, Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken or a seafood thing with scallops, shrimp and noodles. I think there is something else in it, but I can't remember what it is.
I love PotStickers and Crab Rangoons and Fried Wontons too!

With the Moo Shu, I am too inept and lazy to roll the filling into the wrappers.
I take a big container and cut up the pancakes and spread them on the bottom. Then I put the filling on top. I try to let all the sauce from the container drip in so that the pancakes can soak it up. Then I carefully spread the plum sauce on top. Carefully because I don't want it concentrated in one spot. Then it is time to dig in with a fork.
It is even better left over!

I love chinese dimsums. I am really fascinated with how tasty dimsums of chinese are. I also love the sauces and the chili sauce that goes with it. So whenever I go to chinese resto expect to see me feasting on various dimsums and of course with black gulaman on the side.

Dim sum is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes It is usually served in the mornings until noon time at Chinese restaurants and at specialty dim sum eateries where typical dishes are available throughout the day. Dishes come in small portions and may include meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate.
The black gulaman is one refreshing kind of drinks made of black gelatin.

Ive been on a damn Chinese kick lately i swear. It depends what kind of chinese restaurant im at to what i order. If its a basic delivery,or eat in place i like general tso's chicken, spring rolls, lo mein and steamed dumplings. Wonton soup rocks when your sick too! If its somewhere like P.F. Changs i really like the pepper steak (better quality of meat) and lettuce wraps. ohhh...i hate crabmeat but love those ragoons. weird huh?

hmmmm. the soup. Meat wrapped by noodles in a soup. Cant really explain the taste but its good. Lettuce wraps are pieces of lettuce with side of cooked chicken, veggies n sauces. You stuff your own lettuce wraps and eat. try them out

General Geo's is my absolute favorite...with the beef and broccoli being second. I love almost all of their chicken dishes and a few of the beef. I don't care much for the veggies and I love egg drop soup. I don't get chinese that often but it is really good food.

My favorite is the "appetizer" meal that comes with a sampling of every appetizer on their menu, and it is served with either white or beef fried rice. It's SO good. Sometimes I'll switch out some of them and more of another (like no chicken wings for more chicken fingers - or no chicken wings for more crab rangoons...can you tell I don't really mind if the wings are there or not?). That's what I order every time my fiance and I have take out food during date night. YUM!

hello artchick
my favorite thing to order or eat at the Chinese buffet' is the beef and broccoli with the white rice. and i could eat a ton of eggrolls also. and i love the soy sauce poured over all of it. i also like the crispy light cookies that they have for dessert and also the sugar covered mini fried doughnuts. i like to take two of those doughnuts and put some vanilla ice cream over the top of them, and munch away.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

I love so many things that I prefere to go for a buffet.
In such a way, I can take a little bit from everything, even twice.
I like the chicken, and I like the pork. The rice, all of the kinds.
A buffet gives you the opportunity to taste from everything, not to be stuck with one kind of meal.
I think you should try this.

I usually get sesame chicken, orange beef, chicken or pork fried rice and/or cheese wontons. I don't get Chinese food very often. I have to be in the mood for it, which doesn't come very often.

Do you like duck? I would recommend you to try the Beijing duck, it's really good. They usually serve the half or whole duck and cut the meat into pieces. Use a skin to wrap up some other side dishes, add some seafood source and the duck. IT's YUM YMU YUM!!!!!! And I would recomment any type of fried rice and chow fun(flat noodles. They are very good too!

I have to say I'm not the bravest when it comes to Chinese food. My favorites, are any kind of pretty much any fried rice, egg rolls, won tons, Sweet/Sour chicken, pepper steak, beef and broccoli, and beef chop suey. I have to say I do not like the chow mein noodles, which pretty much makes me an outcast with parts of my family.

Well, most of the time when we eat chinese we tend to go to an all you can eat buffet place so you can have your choice of what to eat, but when I am in the mood for just one item one of my favorites will always be Shrimp Fried Rice and Almond Chicken.

I love Chinese food. We order crabmeat rangoons everytime we go. Aren't they yummy! I also like Sezuanne(sp?) green beens with fried rice or Mushroom Chicken. Oh, now I'm hungry for Chinese food. If the roast cooking in my crockpot wasn't smelling so delicious I would order out Chinese food tonight.
