8 babies? no way. i only have one daughter, but she can be equated to 10 kids.. i want to have more, but 8 kids. i do not think i can handle that, to much pressure and stressful.

i had heard about it on the news about this mother who had just gave birth to eight babies, or Octuplets...sounds like Octupus to me LOL
my first question to that mother of eight babies would be; how on earth did she manage to have eight babies in her tummy?
for the mother of that octuplets, CONGRATULATIONS.
i was a blessing in disguise that she had gave birth to all of them alive.

They are going to need a lot of help. Raising kids is expensive for just one kid, but eight? Add to that the current problem they have will be making sure they remain healthy and that is going to take several weeks of hospitalization. I hate to even think of that bill! Of course they make get some help from "sponsors" like diaper makers and baby food companies. Just think about the clothing bill! Yikes. I hope they have a good set of friends and family who are willing to jump in at a moments notice to help. I wish them the best of luck- it's going to be a very long road.

Mmmm....lets see, no way, lol. I couldn't handle that. I have had 5 children, all caesarians, now that was enough in itself. My first was nearly 3 when I had my 2nd, so my 11 yr old and my 10 yr old are 17 months apart and my 10 yr old and 9 yr old are 14 months apart. I also have a 2 & a half yr old so there is a pretty close gap in between the middle 3. I give her credit though, she is brave, I thought I was having all those c-sections. I wish her the best of luck.

OMG! I have my hands full with two...plus the delivery...no way. These lady had some courage to give birth to that many. With the economy these days, two is enough. But hopefull her kids are healthy. Oh, and her too.

I could not imagine having 8 babies all at once and what it will cost for all those babies to be diapered, cloth would probably be the way to go.I hope they all live and that the mother is doing well, she better get alot of rest before she leaves the hospital. You have a great day.

I only have three. and I know how hard that seems. As for diapers I can only imagine. I tried using cloth for mine due to cost and environmental issues but found that when the third came I just could not get them all washed and dried quickly enough. I tink once I have access to my own washer and dryer it might be possible though. Good luck to her and I really hope her husband is alot of help
