I have seen a lot of movies in my day and I would say that most of the time I watch a movie because of the kind of plot that it has. Most of the times I will read what the movie is about before I deside to watch it, if it looks like it might be a good movie then I look to see who's playing in it. I've seen a lot of movies that were great that had actors in them that had never been heard of before. But all in all I guess it just depends on the movie.

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot mj. i think it is both important. if the movie plot is good but the actor did not potray the role as good as most expected then the movie will not be a success. so i think it goes together. thats why actors are choosy when it comes to film specially the good actors. for they want to have a good movie that can bring out the best of them

For me the movie is more important. It is the movie or story that I am most interested in. I also like a variety of movies. What about you? What type of movies are of interest to you?

At first i want to know what's the movie talk about, whether it's worth seeing or not,for example the content of the story ect;and then the stars are important, because they can play the movie well, let the movie more realitic.it is my point of view only.

at first i will pay more attention to those who are staring. we cannt say a movie good or bad before we see it. but we know that a star is always good. and he or she would not take it if the story is poor.
so, good star, good story. it always goes like that.

it's actually the story or the movie that's more important. we've seen countless movies who have stared new actors. like superman for example, indiana jones (remember harrison ford is just a newbie that time!), harry potter, etc.
ofcourse it's nice to see your favorite actors on screen, but the trailers are there for you to get a glimpse on what the movie is. otherwise if the starts are just important for you, a movie poster would enough for you to make you watch the movie right?
cheers!

I usually select a movie based on its plots.I like speculative movies.I don't care whether the role is a movie star or not.Movie stars,to some degree, can attract many of their fans to see the movie they act in.Usually, many people hold the opinion that movie stars have successful experience and they're likely to make another miracle.
