When does the star turns into blue?

Dear friend- my rating is much lesser than yours but i have had similar experiences with lowers ranked stars. You colour should go blue once you touch 96. Regarding others who have a blue star, i am sure they had 96 or above & then had some points reduced. My star ranking did not change when the points went down a few notches. Let the Red colour not "STOP" you from achieving blue. Go Ronaldinu go!

Huh...I rather wait for the sky to turn blue then wait for my star to turn blue. There is no hard and fast rule when you be elevated to the elite group. Just be happy where you are and wait for the magic span to touch your star. It is good you have the ladder to climb while I have been demoted from blue to red and now to yellow. So I will not dream of being promoted and right now I stand precariously on an eggshell to the next star below yellow.

I only just noticed the same thing yesterday but it never occurred to me to put up a post about it. However, I am glad that you have done so and I shall watch the replies with interest to see if anybody can come up with an answer. Anyway, I don't like the idea of having stars as I think they can be abused.

The star turns blue when you become a ten. It just takes someone rating a discussion to move you up these places. At least that is what it was three years ago when I joined. I think :) mine is blue with a ten in it. I want to get my posting raings up too I guess that is all of our goals and WOW you have over 7,000 thats impressive I am surprised you are not at that level yet.

this depends on if someone has given a "-" on any of your discusions. If they have then your star will be less than a 10 or whatever higher number it was before. If you get best response and more "+" then your star will be higher. I believe this is how it works.

when your on 95 your on the cusp of a 9 and 10 star.. it sometimes will bounce back and forth which is sooooo annoying!! so think of it like this.. when your score gets to be a high 95 or like a 95.6 then it will turn into a 10 star

I would love to know the reason for that - What kind of ratting system are they using? I tried to ask admin but never got an answer - I hope people leave good answers so I can find out as well!

Blue star is the highest star, which is awarded to a member having a reputation of more than 95/100. If you are at 95, you get red star, the moment your reputation enhances say it becomes 95.5, you will get blue star. Best of luck and best wishes.

they can't show decimals so it would be rounded the other person might have 95.10/100 or exactly 95/100 while you have 94.75 which is rounded to 95 but it's not exactly 95 or over so you are still red I forgot how many star colors and the percentage since I don't care much about it anymore

I'm still red too. Booo hoo I want to be blue. I guess people don't like me enough.

It beats the heck out of me, but then I've only been here a few months not years. It's just one more thing to worry about and I don't need any more worries, so I'll read the responses to this discussion and maybe find out the answer. Thanks

Mine turned blue when I reached 96% and went back to red when I dropped back down to 95%. It changed back to blue when my percentage went back up. It is apparently tied to how many people rate your discussions and comments either negatively or positive. The system seems to have some flaws though because logic would dictate that if someone got mad at you they could go back to everything you have posted and rate it negatively and lower your reputation. I could be wrong though.

I have a blue star and it can blue when I got a 10. What or where do you find the 95/100 you are talking about? What kind of rating is that/

Hello my friend ronaldinu Ji, Well, I think it should be blue now, but why it is not turning, may be that feature may not be working in your case. I think, you have to address this issue with myLot admin, who would help in correcting the same. may god bless you and have great time.

You have to wait till you get a rating of 96 upon 100...Just continue being a good boy, and you will get it!! :) Cheers and happy Mylotting

haha.. I too dunno how the star rating works.. All i know is that my star is always changing it colors as and when it likes.. lol =D I used to have blue star for a few days before turning to red and stayed there for months before it goes up to blue.. hehe ^_^ BUt dunno why, after a day or so, it's back to red again.. lol =D NOw that i have this blue again, but my rating is lower than yours.. I only have got 94/100.. lol =D I wonder if it's a mistake by mylot??

i dont have an idea but i gues if someone rated you possitve it will turn into blue.mine way blue then down to yellow and few months after it turns red.dont wait ,it will come.
