My friend asked me the other day if I was interested in Yoga Classes?
I don't think I'am but my Question is "Has anybody ever done Yoga" and "What does it do for you besides bend you like a pretzel". I know it supposed to relax you or make you calm but I can do that laying on the couch reading a book.
Have you ever done Yoga?

Yoga is not just bending your body to different poses. With those poses, you get all of your internal organs and glands, well stimulated and enhance their work. So,you have a balanced body and a balanced mind is a bonus.Cheers!

For the past year I've practiced Bikram yoga pretty religiously - I went to class pretty much every day. Bikram yoga is a 90 minute class in 105 degree heat, 26 poses each performed twice. It's definitely dramatically increased my strength and flexibility, and completely healed old injuries from three years of competitive running. The yoga itself is definitely not "easy" "relaxing" or "peaceful", but you do feel an incredible sense of accomplishment afterwards! And it develops lots of mental discipline too.

I did yoga a couple of years ago for about 2 months. It was a class held at the community wrec center. I enjoyed going every week. It does help you stay limber and really does relax you. They also teach you different breathing techniques along with the yoga poses. Give it a try. I think you'll like it.

Yoga is a sort of meditation and art in itself.
The people that I have met that do yoga are usually very relaxed and comforting.
You train the mind and the body at the same time.
I would consider doing this myself and now will look for some classes at the ymca.
Crocket.
