How often?

Dear AmbiePam, Yeah,It seems the same case with me ,most of the time I don't check my profile except some occasions when I needed to check if my friends are on my list.You must be curious about this ,actually,There was a time when I was at school I can't login mylot frequently and response the discussions my friends started,so some of my friends may think Molly will never be there and she dispeared ,then they choose to dispeared from my friends list .I feel so happy as well as blessed to have you as my friend .

I dont check. I though that we are notified if we receive a comment or something like that.

Very rare that I go to any ones Photos lol I do not even know if I have any on my Profile I don't think I have And you are right you have to be a Friend to leave a Comment

I don't but I thought that we get notifications if someone does leave a comment, no?

I honestly don't really go to anyone's profiles unless I just received a friends request.

Now you got me! I never look at my own although I am longing to change my avi. I can't upload or download pictures as yet but I have hopes of learning. I sometimes check out someone's profile if they sound very young or someone who does not share the same interest as I do, then it is pointless for them to be a friend. having said that , I have never refused anyone but have pressed a few buttons not to receive their emails. Oh, I'm naughty!

Not as much as I probably should. I actually forget about my profile page more often than not. I do sometimes - and if someone asks - check the photos/images section in my friends profiles and comment on them. And no, I don't think there is a way to leave a comment on a photo from someone that is not our friend.

Now and then I do, not often though. I noticed just the other day I had a few comments posted since last year. Oops! I actually changed my page and removed my photos. Will be adding different ones when I get some time.

Good question, hmmmm. I like never pull up my own profile for any reason. I don't post pictures so I wouldn't be looking for comments to them. Yes, you are right about only being able to leave comments to a photo that a friend has uploaded. I know because I have tried before and was given the message that they are not on my friend list or something like that.

I don't think I've visited my profile in quite a while. Certainly not had a proper look any way. Might have to do that when I get the chance.

The first six months or so that I was here I didn't check at all. Then I got a message about a comment left. And I started checking about once a month.

I go to my profile page at least once a month now. I never used to go there very often until one day I saw that people posted some of their banners with their links, to sites that they are working. So I deleted them and now I check at least once a month because it happened again about two months later, that someone posted another one. I don't understand why people think they can do that. And the thing is I know exactly who it was because of course I checked the link in the banners and can see who they are. So I say, the nerve of them. how often i see my profile n read comments? when i open my email i will check my profile n read comments. so everyday i will see my profile

I am ashamed to admit I rarely go to someone's picture on their profiles unless it is to see a particular picture they are talking about in a post. I will leave comments then on the photo if they are a friend. Although lately I have just been answering post from my inbox that I get from Mylot from a few special friends. I am always lately answering from the onbox and that is why I am so behind on some, like this one.

I need to check it more often. I also need to post some for others more often....You just made me more aware o and I went and checked and there were new ones.....appreciate the great topic...

I check my own profile every few days or so. I mainly check it to see what kind of comments I have received, if any, on the profile itself. Some of the comments I receive I delete, due to not wanting any spam on there. The other comments I don't mind as I find them kind of cute. I rarely ever check to see if someone comments on any of my pictures. For example, I didn't even check for comments on my "Sunny California sky" until last month. Someone had commented on it...7 months ago. I wanted to comment back to this person so I could answer their question "Are you a photographer?", but apparently they aren't on mylot anymore as their profile isn't up. They could of course be under a new username, but I'd never know who, unfortunately. I guess that's what I get for not checking the comments under my pictures in my profile more often.

I don't have any photos in my profile... but now that you mentioned it... i think it is time for me to upload some... i think we should also receive notifications if a certain photo we uploaded gets a comment... that would save us the time... And yes... i also do not think those who are not in our friends list can leave a comment to our photo... tried it once... but did not work...

Hey ambie! I don't look at other people's profile's, but I do look at my own profile to see if I have new comments from wonderful friends like you! And thank you for your last comment! I do so love to get them and I am very bad sometimes about giving them! I should give more of them since I love so much to received them! They really make me feel so good knowing that someone is thinking about me! I think about my friends too, I just don't think about putting the comments on their profile page! I'm always afraid that I'm going to do something wrong and mess it up because it happened to another mylot friend and all the comments disappeared!

I think in the four months I have been here I have looked at my profile two times! I just never think to go there. I am too busy responding to others discussions. I do need to work on looking every now and then because the last time I seen my profile there was a lot of comments I didn't even know I had. I have never left anyone a comment...Not because I am mean and don't do things like that but it is because I don't know how too.
