Yes,its influence. and that depends on how much you involved in movie. how much can you imbibe in yourself certains scenes.
As we talk about young, they are having passion inside. so they are easily influenced by movie. Most of the time youngsters wear clothes, which one on by popular heros.
But which scene will be taken seriously , decided by that youth. Whichever in mind, it is come out someway. Happy MovieLotting!

It all depends on the subject and the person. one could watch To Kill a Mockingbird and not learn one thing while another could see and hear it true message.

I believe that kids are easly enfluenced. To me life changes through incraments. Yeah, it is a way to relax, but a kid doesn't really know how to relax, and to me a kid doesn't have nothing really to relax from. Some kids don't really know how good they got it, if you ask me.
This is really a deep question you asked in my opinion. Then again, who in their right mind would let their kid get so influenced by a movie, so far to base their morals off of it?

I watch movies as a way to relax and pass time. Movies dont seem to influence me but they do let you talk about some with friends. I ust watched The day the earth stood still and The curious case of Benjamin Button. I saw The day the earth stood still and I was a little disappointed. It was a kind of movie that just went through as if I were doing nothing. Benjamin Button another movie thats worth watching. I thought it was pretty good for a non action movie. It makes me think I should do more with my life maybe explore to new places.

I don't think that movies really influence our children as much as everybody says they do. As long as the child is taught right from wrong and understands that is just a movie. But I would let my kids watch violent movies all day long. I let my oldest son watch them occasionally.

I think it's a little bit of both. When you're watching a movie and like somehow, you can relate to the main character, you tend to do what he/she's doing so it's a bit on the influence side right there but also it's kinda entertaining you in a way.

I do think TV influences people but it's all up to the individual to process it the right way.

Everything we see and hear has a potential to influence any of us for good or bad. Kids are more impressionable though. When really young, they have difficulty separating real from unreal (i.e. monsters) Older kids have difficulty with judgment, thinking things all the way through from cause to effect - and the fact that consequences apply to them too.
Besides being careful about what's age appropriate for the young, movies shouldn't be their primary influence. There is so much more to life they should be learning from.

I don't think people are influenced by movies if they realize that the story is all made up. It maybe that the emotion is influenced when we watch a movie but it is all over when it is done. I think watching movie is the way to relax during our leisure time. Having said that, I have a little belief that a movie that has a strong character will inspire some persons that see it.
