I love Gordon Ramsey. Yes, he cusses a lot and is quite a bit rude. But he knows how to turn a restuarant around and have it make money instead of it going into a whole and having to close.
Also the ones where he is trying to find someone to wotk for or with him in a restuarant. He elimanates the ones that just can't cook or do right int he kitchen.
Do you like him and his shows?
Thank you for responding.

He wasn't my fav at first, but then when I realized the other people on his shows had worse attitudes and mouths than him, it was easier to concentrate and just how good he is at what he does. His show "The F Word" is so much tamer and you get to see his family more which humanizes him. I watch him all the time. I'm a Brit addict, so it's really a given he's be on my most watched list! LOL

I've seen some of his shows and although I think he's a good chef...I also think he's rude and hateful to ppl. He seems to take a lot of pleasure in hurting ppl's feelings. I don't mind watching him if I have to but I don't enjoy it much.

I have a son who's a chef twoey. And believe me, when you're trying to help someone with an attitude, you have to have one of your own and speak 'their' language or you won't succeed.

He knows what he is doing and when these people ask him to come in to help him and then don't listen to them...it's enough to agrevate anyone even the most devote christian.

I love his shows, I started watching him on BBC America which shows British shows on cable. I was thrilled to see him on prime time. I like his shows and I can appreciate his passion for his chosen art. I wouldn't want tot work in the kitchen for him but would love to eat in one of his places. You have to look past the rants and swearing to see how enthusiastic and passionate he is about food.

I know and I just love his shows. He has 3 shows and I love them all. I can get past all of the yelling and cussing and to tell you the truth some of those people make me upset by the way they act and I want to do the same. I say if I was him I'd probably cuss them too or just walk out on them, lol.

I LOVE Gordon Ramsey! He gets impatient and he can be less than nice but he's usually right even if his language could be a little less harsh at times. I LOVE Hell's Kitchen! I learned a lot about kitchen stuff (did you see the show they had to clean squid?) and I found it very entertaining. I have recommended Kitchen Nightmares to people I know in the restaurant business because again there's a lot of useful information there. (Did you see the one where the restaurant was losing money due to it's lack of portion control?)
Unfortunately the local Fox channel went digital back in January and I haven't gotten a new tv yet. I can't get it to load online either so I will just have to wait for DVD.

I used to, but he got old. I got sick of the swearing. Gordon Ramsey doesn't have to swear all of the time in order to be cool.

He's not trying to be cool. He is really frustrated at the people and that's how he handles it. Have you not seen his show Gordon Ramsey the F word? He helps ladies and other that do not know how to cook. I haven't heard him go off like that on this show.

This years "Hell's Kitchen" is awesome. The winner gets the chefs job at a reataraunt at the Borgatto Casino in Atlantic city. I just recently started watching old reruns of a few shows of his and I love them all. This man is great at his jopb and his attitude makes the shows all that much more fun to watch actually.

Yes, I love both of his shows, I really love cooking shows though. I also really like Top Chef, it is kind of similiar to Hell's Kitchen with out all the swearing, and a the chefs get to be more creative. But I love watching Gordon transpose a restaurant. He does really get violently angry though sometimes, but sometimes the people really need a kick in the you know what.

Yes, I also like Top Chef. Have you not seen Gordon Ramsey The F Word. That is a really good show to. Last night he helped these 2 woman that didn't know how to cook. He helped them, well he didn't cook they did it all. And since they didn't have boyfriends to taste the food he went out and found 2 young ment o go have dinner with them. One of the guys brought flowers and they raved about the meals.
It was nice.

Hi moondancer,I don't think I have ever watched Gordon Ramsey.I use to watch several cooking shows on the cooking channel.Paula Deen,Rachel Ray,Sandra Lee,Bobby Flay and a bunch more.I don't watch the cooking shows anymore.I think I saw a show on another channel once where the chef was teaching and he was so mean and cursed a lot .I did not continue watching because I did not like it.I don't know what his name was.
Bless you. Have a good night.

I first came across Gordon Ramsay when I saw an advert for one of his shows, there were alot of beeps as he was swearing way too much. I did watch one of his shows where he visits failing restaurants in the US and tells them how to improve, in his 'tamed' attitude of course! I don't think he is a bad chef but just wish that he would swear a little less.

That's just who he is and he gets so frustrated with them. Yes, people with failing resturants will call him and ask him for help. I love his shows.

I love waching his shows, especially Hell's kitchen. I think that he is very inventive and that he has very high standards and that he doesn't take $#!t from anyone. I love the fact that he is nasty because it makes people take him seiously. I think that his attitude also makes him one of those, this is who I am kinda people, take it or leave it.

I feel the same way you do and yes I think you are right. He is the way he is and people need to take him the way he is. I too love Hells kitichen. Have you seen his show Gordon Ramsey F word? I love it he is a really good person and it's another side of him.

Yes I do like watching Gordon Ramsey's shows. I watch Hell's Kitchen and it is very amusing. It is nice to hear him cuss out the slackers. If he were not to be rude, the show would be very bland, boring and wouldn't be called Hell's kitchen either. Ramsey has proven himself and knows his stuff , so he has the prerogative to yell at the contestants. It is fun to watch and I like him.

Yes, he does. And they know what they are getting into and are in for if they screw up. They know the man they also know that he is weii reknown and to cook under him and have his endorsement means everything in the culinary world.

I like gordon ramsay and his shows and i believe that the reason to why his shows has become so succesful is becouse of his raw attitude. People like to see him curse and yell. In the restaurant buissness it's also nescessary to be like he is, it's a very stressful job and when someone does something wrong i can imagine that that he gets even more stressed out and just looses it.

Yes, I know and he is so blantaly honest with people and can not control himself sometimes. If I were in his shoes I would be able to either. Those people give him a hard time after they have called him in and they know how he is.

i love gordon! he's awesome, i dont often find him rude, just amusing, i dont like hells kitchen, but i love the kitchen nightmares on bbc. i especially like it when they do a follow up and he just gets to rail on them for being idiots. he's doing it in the US as well, but they just aren't as good.

I watched it when it first came out, but got really bored with watching him rant and rave all the time and so little going right. If I were one of the customers he and his crew serve on the show, I'd walk out. No food is that good to wait forever for it to be served because they can't get it right.

I do understand and I feel the same way. If it were Gordon himself cooking I'd wait a bit in line to be seated or for a bit to eat as I know his restuarant are busy. But to wait on a trainee that does know how to cook, no way.

we actually do watch as many of his shows... Kitchen nightmares are so disgusting and yet when we see it is on, we will put aside things and sit down and watch them... I dont know if, sometimes I wonder how much of it is staged, but then some of it is so bad I really hope it is staged...LOL
we are watching the new season of Hells kitchen... we havent seen the last couple seasons, we tend to be going back to shows we watched years ago...LOL
