Do you put your socks on when you're wearing sneakers?

I'm really not much into sneakers because it has less cushion compared to the typical rubber shoes which gives me that bounding feeling everytme I walk. But I try to wear socks all the time. I don't mind if I had to reuse the socks I used the day before, and use it the next day again, LOL, as long as Im wearing something between the shoes and my feet.

I can't remember the last time I wore sneakers. I'm usually either in flip-flops or clogs, so that I can kick them off easily...lol. The only time I wear socks is in the winter when it gets cold out.

yes. I always put socks on with my sneakers. well, every once in a while i will go with out but i don't like going without.. because if my feet get sweaty lol it'll make my shoe smell and i don't like it on the back of my foot. it brothers it sometimes. so always wear socks for me.

No it's not my way to do it. Though socks and sneakers would go always I keep my sneakers where it should be placed with the socks on it....I guess it would be untidy to see especially when visitors suddenly come seeing anywhere else your sneakers and socks..what if your socks smells bad? he he he

Most of the time I do, but there are times that I do not. If my sneakers are cheap, I find that they retain odor really bad!! Which is why I wear socks with those. I live in a hot climate and very rarely wear them anyway! Sneakers or socks!

I must always have socks on. I don't like seeing by feet having blisters. I love my teeny tiny feet and how mom would say that they're like ten-years-old all the time.

Hello modstar, I always put on my socks whenever I am wearing sneakers. I think I get used to it and I don't feel comfortable wearing ones without the socks.

I wear socks when I am wearing sneakers every time because if i don't my sweaty feet will stink up my shoes and I will be a walking funk around everyone. I used to wear hosiery with my shoes and they were deadly. I didn't even need to take them off, the stank permeated through the shoe and to the helping noses of passerbys. So I never ever for the sake of my community go without socks when wearing sneakers.

I usually wear socks with my sneakers. Once in a while I will go without my sock, but 9 times out of 10, I have to have them on. Besides, I'm losing the rubber on my shoes right now, and if I didn't have any socks on, my feet would get royally soaked right now. That would not be a good feeling.

I always put on my socks when I am wearing sneakers. I am used to it I remember back on time when I was at college and it's very popular without socks and I did try once. Well, it was cool but not comfortable. SO I keep my old habit, heehee. My feet like sweating and then I feel the sneakers very slippery, hoho~But I seldom wear sneakers since I graduated from college.

Hey modstar! I sometimes wear socks with sneakers! It depends on the weather! If it is very hot out I don't wear socks. But, most of the time I do wear socks with sneakers! It keeps them fresher and it helps your feet from slipping around inside them! I wear sneakers when I know that I'm going to do alot of serious walking so I do wear socks with them most of the time!

Of course, i have to put my socks first because i will not feel comfortable when i just let my feet stay in a shoes without any cover as a support for unwanted dirt and odor. It is just only my opinion. i feel my feet will get foul odor if i just let it stay inside the shoes without socks. just imagine the sweat, basically, your feet might also sweat because it is surely "hot" inside a shoe. your feet may "moist" or sweat and it will just stay and dry inside.

I don’t wear sneakers but my son does a lot and I don’t encourage him to wear socks with them. According to me, socks and sneakers just don’t gel, sneakers look fine just by themselves. And then they are quite soft on the inside too, so the toes don’t really need a layer of clothing to protect them from abrasions.

This is so funny. I have OCD so I have to wear socks all the time. I wear the footie kind. I have to wear socks with my tennies. I used to be in ballet and got the worst case of athletes foot my doctor and I have ever seen. My pinky toes just about fell off, it was so bad. So from then on, unless it's flip-flops, I got my footies on all the time.

i'm one of those people who hate wearing anything on their feet, so the less stuff the better. nowadays i don't wear sneakers anymore. it's either dress shoes or flip flops. unfortunately with dress shoes i have to wear sock. i wore sneakers when i was in college and i only put on socks in winter.

I wear socks with my tennis shoes unless I'm only going to be wearing the shoes for a minute. I hate when the back of the inside of the shoe scuffs against the back of my foot and makes it raw and dry... yuck, and it's really uncomfortable too, plus athletes foot... even yuckier.

If I am going to wear my sneakers for a while, like out shopping all day, then I always put on socks. I will sometimes just throw them on to take out the trash or run to the car, but I don't like the way tennis shoes feel without socks.
