It's a bad word in any country. if some one uses it be in movies or real world it speaks ill if their breeding. people from respectable background will not use that word. In India ,if somebody uses it,he or she will be torn to pieces.

Many people view it as a bad and offensive word, but there are far worse words in the world. It is a good word and a bad word depending on how it used. If your wife told you she was pregnant you might say 'I can't believe it, my wife is pregnant I am f*****g delighted!' which is a positive expression of the emotion at hearing such news. If used in a negative way to call someone a 'stupid f*****g ....' it would be bad. There are far too many cases of censorship anyway and it would be dangerous to try to control the words people can use. People should be free to use the words and language they want. Swear words, however offensive they may be to someone are still part of the vocabulary and should not be prevented.

This word is very bad in our country and you can't hear it in everyone's mouth specially children. Children are not allowed to say that word infront of their parents or other older man. Recently i heard it from the street children maybe it because no parents guide them for being good.

im thinking you're talking about the same word that im thinking of. and, yes it's the head of all cuss words in my country, but many people use it and throw it around like it's a regular, everyday word.
in my opinion, i believe it's just a word and it doesn't really have true meaning. so, therefore using it doesn't bother me. i use it myself now and again. maybe more than what i should. haha but, for saying that it's not a "right" word to use, is not my call. it's all up to who your with, what you grew up with, and what your beliefs of the word are. it's a bad word, yes. but so are many other words that people use...a lot...

In my country if it is said in English f*** it doesn't sound bad and no one usually takes any notice. But if you say the equivalent in our language it sounds very rude and bad

It's a bad word in my country as well but I hear it more and more each day.
I don't like to hear it much in films either without just cause, one of my favourite films is Saving Private Ryan, that word is used quite a bit but in a case like that it adds to realism, men dying around You, it's to be expected but to use it in everyday language I think is wrong.

This is a word that is looked askance upon, and mostly used in derogatory ways, but the word intially was an abbreviation for rape when (I think it was British Bobbies) were typing their police reports! F is For...U is Unlawful...C is Carnal and K is Knowledge....so on the charge sheet it was just abbreviated! It gets it's bad rap for what it is related to! I think there are kinder words for our audio senses!
