I don't think I can answer my own question. I know I don't want to die young I prefer not to die at all but we all know that's not gonna happen. So do I wanna be 90 years old and poop in my diapers and get fed by a stranger?. I don't think so either so what do you think?

I think I'm okay with growing old up to 90 as long as my husband is still with me.

I don't want to die young either but then I'm 40 so I'm not so young anymore. I also don't want to have to depend on someone to change my butt, feed me or bathe me. My goal is to last long enough to see my nephew, who is 11, finish school and get on his own feet...then I'll be able to die knowing he can take care of himself. I see those things at work every day and it makes me wonder about getting old and helpless.

i would definetly not like to die now,i would like to see my grandchildren but on the other hand,i would not like to be depedant on anybody,so i think the middle-age would be the best time to die.

I'm just required to live long enough to get the kids self sufficient & out of my house. After that it's all gravy. I'll make sure I don't live long enough to go to assisted living. If I can't take care of myself then it's time to check out.

Hi MissyBear, I don't know your definition of young (20, 30 or 40???); anyway I don't want to live till 90, not if I'm going to be dependent on others. It's a terrifying feeling when I have lost all that freedom of doing things on my own, for myself - and have to rely on someone or some machine!

I know what you mean it's very sad. I guess young is different for every person you can be 60 and still young. I was thinking more around 4oish.

Hi missy! I don't like to think about it! That is a really scary thought! I'm already getting up there in age and I'm already getting scarred! I wouldn't want to be 90 if it meant being too old and feeble to take care of myself so nope I wouldn't want to be old in that case either!

I make it a point to enjoy life as much as possible. I do not want to live to 90. I think about 80 is plenty. Make room for the newcomers!

My grandma will be 91 this year and if I'm lucky to take after her, it wouldn't be so bad to be 90. She does real well and looks at least 20 years younger. She can do everything for herself. So I would say live to be 90.

Well, I want to die when I have discharge my duties as parents, do the things I want to do and should do. I think with that kind of planning, I should be somewhere around 50s or late 60s. To be honest, I don't think I want to live up to 90s where my health is no longer at it best and mobility is limited.

I could have chosen to die young but then I think I'm too old for that. Besides, I promised my son I would be 100 by the time I'm ready to die. Cheers!!!

I rather die in my early adult years than living in my 90 year old.. The reason why I choose to die its because I don't want to be a burden to my family especially to my children cause I know that they also have a life to enjoy.. The worst thing I don't want to live without the people I love or to be taking care of stranger people.. I know that its nice to live in this world but living with so much burden to others, i don't think so that i would be happy living in this world..

I don't know why anyone would want to die young. I want to live to be at least 100 years old and still be able to drive a car. Wouldn't that be wonderful?

I think it's not about living short or long it's about living your life happily. I really can't say that I could die right now nor I could say that I want to live long. For me I want to live my live fulfilled and happy. That's why I always make sure to at least be happy and share a smile with the people around me.

hello...the mortal fear affects most of us,so don't worry about your thought.Even I don't wanna die...not at all.But the truth of life has a different story for us. So i would prefer to die the very day I am disabled to carry out my essential functions. I don't want my life with someone else's support.I am even not sure I would be carrying this thought when i go nearer to the point, but for now this is my answer.

I would say its better to live your entire 90 years of life ,when your young itself, and celebrate life everyday .What is the use of living a life of 90 years being a slave ,instead live like a king when young itself. Why do you want to fed by a stranger later in life, work hard now and become a celebrated person and then you will have people feeding you right now.. itself.. So work hard and party even harder Cheers Vishwas
