Do you ever buy an extra pizza to freeze for later?

I love our pizza shop down the street from where we live. Sometimes I will buy an extra pizza just to keep in the freezer for another day. That way it's always handy to just put in the oven for when we don't have money to order a pizza. Do you ever buy an extra pizza to freeze for later?

as everything is, it's ridiculous & i'm afraid it's going to get worse before it gets better. hope i'm wrong.

You are telling us about buying a "second" freshly made pizza from a pizzeria that you phoned in or went in to order, and brought it home (or had it delivered) while it's still yummy and hot..and then sat and watched it grow cold, only to chuck it in the freezer for later? I can only say,I admire your restraint.... The only pizzas living in my freezer are supermarket bought frozen ones..I don't have a nearby pizza place in my neighbourhood-and the place I do go to to buy fresh ones for a treat every so often, they don't tend to last long enough for leftovers..A second one wouldn't be an option for Me..

Sometimes we'll take the second one away with us somewhere and then we'll have our favorite pizza to heat up.

hi shar19, my dear friend, i never buy an extra pizza to freeze for later. beasue eating pizza means, eating it hot and i love to go and eat out rather than giving the order, witing for it to coe, then serve myself to ea. ts very boring. atleast one day, if i wanna eat, i prefer eating it out so that i can straight order , the boy there comes , serves me, i eat, and pay and wash my hands and move out. simple.

It is the best fresh from the pizza place.

I have never done that before, but it sounds like a good idea to me. The pizza place I ordered from the other day had a deal on Tuesdays where you can get a Large cheese pizza for $3.99 with no limit. My son would be thrilled if I ordered those today and he had pizza to heat up whenever he wanted to.

Wow! $3.99 for a large pizza? I wish our pizza place had specials like that. If I were you, I'd be stocking up on those deals.

we do every once in a while, that way we do not have to go out. We have one of those pizzazz pizza ovens and it heats it up so much better than in the oven.

That's a good idea.

We will only do that if there is a sale. Something like buy one get one, where it's actually cheaper to buy 2 instead of one.
