Have you ever wished that you had some psychic ability? I have. This is not ordinarily the case but whenever I hear about a missing child I wish that I could find that child through some type of psychic connection. You've probably heard it said that having psychic ability can be an awful burden, and I wouldn't argue with that. Still, given the choice, I would prefer to have psychic ability so that I could help find lost children. What about you?

I agree. It can be a burden but only if you let it be. You can also reach the psychic energy within yourself if you try. You might want to check it out because if you want something like this that badly it may come to you. I knew of a young girl who had precognitive dreams for afew months then they left. So who is to say that you cannot learn to be psychic to some extent?

I think you are absolutely right, celticeagle! I just often get a feeling when I hear about children who have gone missing that I could help them. Maybe I'll try harder to develop my psychic ability.

Hi worldwise. I think having psychic ability of any form is great. For instance, if one has the sixth sense, h/she could avoid misfortune before it happens. I think I am a little bit psychic myself. Most of the time when the phone rings, I have always predicted and know who is on the other line. And if I want my sister to call me, I only have to concentrate thinking about her and just like magic, she will call me. Do you think that is psychic ability or just coincidences?

I think you should probably look into developing this ability if you feel you might have it, ellie. I've heard that most people with psychic ability don't see what will happen to them though.

Hi worldwise, I believe that we all have some psychic ability and that anyone can work on developing it. Of course some have much greater ability than others. I'm not sure that I would want the responsibility or the burden of it. I have a friend who can often tell if someone is soon going to die, even if the person appears in good health. He says the persons face appears grey to him, but he is very unhappy with that gift and I would not want it either, in fact it is downright scary. A few years ago I tried Fortune Telling with cards, it was just for friends and I didn't charge for it but when things would happen as I predicted, I was a bit shocked and soon decided to give quit. Thanks for the discussion. Blessings.

Life often brings to us things that we consider a burden, Pose, and I suppose it is up to us to decide if we can bear the responsibility. I have heard that in some cases these abilities will present themselves no matter how hard a person tries to deny them.

Many people do have some psychic ability without realising it. I read somewhere a long time ago that one in every four people have latent psychic ability. These people can easily train themselves to harness thia ability.
You may be one of them. I have trained more than three people to develop and sharpen their psychic ability. Most of them were sceptical but they followed my instructions with open hearts. They were surprised by the results. One was able to call someone to come to him. He also could visit a place without having seen it before and describe what were inside. Another one can see ghosts. Yet another was able to 'lighten' his body, seen by more than five witnesses. Due to personal commitments many have let their skills to rust.
Psychic ability is a general term used for various abilities like ESP and telekinesis. We may be gifted in different areas.
If you want to know whether you have some ability or not, try getting someone to guide you. Who knows, maybe you do have it.
all the best,
rosdimy

Having done some research into the subject, rosdimy, I am in agreement with you. I believe that most people do have a degree of psychic ability that only needs to be honed so that it will be brough out. I am fascinated by astral projection, remote viewing, etc.

of course it will be great only that there are some things that get out of control with this ability. and this actually do more hard than good in having this ability. actually it will not help us in the long run but more put uor lives in more danger in my own opinion. well i prefer to believe in the power of prayer than these psychic abilities.

The people who have this gift often combine it with the power of prayer, hotsummer. I think that you would be protected if you are really doing good work for the benefit of others.

Once you have these abilities, your life is not yours anymore to control.
it's a beautiful thing to have them and use them for a good reason, for a good goal, and not for personal interest.
If you have these powers, I think that the Regional Police would be interested to hear from you, if you already have clues about a certain case.
Today, everyone is much more open to this kind of abbilities, and ready to listen to someone genuine.
I'm a little bit afraid to have them, but stillif I'll have them, I would do everything in my power to help other people.

Indeed, ladynetz, anyone fortunate enough to have this kind of intuition should only use it for the good of mankind. I have come across many psychics over the years who only seem to be out for financial gain and this is why people are so distrustful of them.

I definitely would like that ability. I'm sure there are many more cases of missing children than what we see on the news. Especially if there are cases that the children are harmed or even worse, I would like to find them before any harm comes to them. We as adults have a responsibility to protect the innocents.

I feel that it would be a mixed blessing to have such an ability, deejean. You are right about our having a responsibility to protect the innocents.
