Ladies and skirts

I think that in this day and age women are able to choose what they wear. I do not think that there is anything wrong with wearing pants or shorts or that. I also do not think that it would really matter to God what you wear. I do not wear skirts or dreese much at all. And I could not picture having to wear these things. It is not me.

Some people believe that church is G-d's house and that you should dress appropriately. So as a general rule it would be nicer if women and men would dress a little better than casual. That means no jeans, sneakers, or shorts. It does say in the Bible that women and men should not dress like each other. Some people have interpreted that to mean that women should not wear pants. I think this is a personal decision and that you should wear what is the norm for your church.

I don't think God cares what you wear as long as you are there. I am curious what the scripture is that they get this idea. Ask your friends.

I cannot say any thing much on this but yes i have seen at church that ladies coming there only used to wear skirts and some on Saree , but i did not fine any one wearing jeans,shorts and tight fitting clothes.

Why do want to see people looking at your legs when your skirt is too high, do you think you honor God or are you just leading men to sin with what their eyes see. If it is not your desire to display fleshy parts on church since it is God whom you would really meet, then i suggest you go for a decent, long skirt or formal and decent clothes or dress on Sunday. We are called to be Holy. And do you think if women that wear clothes like Britney and goes to church wearing shorts, sleeveless seeing their bra on the side or what ever is so flashy, do you think this is the best you can dress for God? or do you Glorify God with these kinds of clothing. We are called not to be like the world. So don't dress like the world does, don't act like the world does, don't talk like the world does, for the love of the Father is not in you and you cannot make a difference and still say you are a Christian, what is the difference my friend?

in our churh, woman are not allowed to wear skirt, pant,short. in our opinion, go to churh we shoud be serious, can't be do something at random. if you wear shoe without sockings or you dye your hair with color, and you will be the attraction of being discussed by others.

I don't think it is a sin when you wear pants to church for it wasn't stated in the Bible that women should be wearing skirts right? What is important is that we wear something pleasing to the eyes of God when we visit and adore Him. I am not saying to wear like a gown or an expensive clothes what is important is that it it appropriate to where we are going and since it ids the house of God wear something appropriate and pleasing. My two cents.

I think it doesn't matter what we wear. First off in the beginning we aren't suppose to be wearing clothes but when adam and eve ate the fruit of knowledge the world changed. So yes we do wear clothes. But no where in the bible does it state women have to wear certain types of clothes. And if it does this would be the first i hear of it. I wear jeans and pants . I haven't were a dress for two years. I hate dresses except when i was pregnant. I am okay with skirts. Also at work places alot of dress codes require pants or so. Unless religious beliefs. Well in the end my opinion is where what you want as long as your not exposing yourself. I will agree that if your shirt is so tight your boobs are hanging out that is alittle improper.

I don't angry to your friend's opinion and don't think women should wear only skirts or dresses. Pants are a very comfortable part of clothing and why we women can't feel comfortable? I could agree that women wearing a skirt or a dress make them look womanly but we should leave the choice up to women.

I think that it shouldn't matter either. I could see the tight fitting clothing as that tends to be more revealing and not very appropriate, but pants and shorts actually hide more than skirts if you think about it. Bend over and everything stays covered, some skirts aren't long enough to do that. I understand looking nice is a part of it, but I can look quite nice in pants with a pretty top.

I personally don't think it's a "sin" to do something like this, because within reason, people should be able to wear whatever they'd like to church. I don't think anyone has any right to pass judgement on anyone else (and I'm sure God would feel the same way). Again, I'm not religious, but I feel like people shouldn't be restricted to wearing certain things when going to church. It's what's on the inside that counts, anyway.

I think that women have the right to wear whatever they want. They have the freedom of expression. I always wear jeans and a cute top to church. I hardly ever see that many people wearing dresses they usually wear pant suits. Some older people at church might consider jeans a "sin" ,but they also think that youth bands are bad for church.

Ok if you need you wear but it was not comfortable so that they telling like that.
