So do you consider your spouse or boyfreind/girlfriend to be your best friend? My hubby is definetly my best freind...i talk to him about everything! I tell him about my hopes and dreams...how I am feeling, things that bother me. If i know something that I cannot tell anyone...i can still share it with him. I can trust him no matter what.
We have been together 8 years now and we have no secrets. I think it's great to have him as a freind...he is someone I can always count on and I never have to worry what he thinks...because he loves me no matter what!
SO what about all of you is your spouse your best friend?

My fiance is definitely my best friend. I have a lack of real, close friends and him and I spend the most time together and can talk about anything and have fun doing anything together. I would love to have more girlfriends, it makes talking about things like hair and makeup a little more interesting, but it's really hard to make friends in a small town!

That is good that your fiance is your best friend because when you are married the same relationship ought to continue for longevity of the relationship.
It is nice to have girlfriends also when you need some woman type of advice but your husband is your shoulder.
Try to remember that you must go to your husband first when something is bothering you. This is just some good old fashioned advice from an married lady.

As for me i want to say that my best friend is my girl because she is going to be the mother of my children and when she does, i dont see any reason why i should not share and plan my life with her.
As of now she has been a very good friend of mine so i still ask for her opinion as my best friend.

This is a very good reply. You already seem to know the importance of your girlfriend being a best friend to you. After all you are going to have children together so it seems that you are in in for the long haul.
Just remember to keep the communication open. That is so important in keeping love and marriage alive.
I really do wish you much luck. You sound like a good and caring person. Take care pingi4real.

you are lucky to have a husband that you can also call your bestfriend.=)
I am too. My husband is my confidante. I can talk to him about anything. When we moved to another state, all my girl friends are just so far away ( i constantly miss them) But it made me and my husband bond more. He listens to me and he takes care of me... I can cry on his shoulder, I can be angry, I can laugh at the silliest things and I am not afraid that I will be judged. We also do stuff together- go to movies, eat out, play Wii, and yeah even go shopping. He really is my best friend. We've been married almost 5 yrs now and we were boyfriend-girlfriend for 9 long years and we never get tired of each other. Im looking forward for more years for us to share.
have a pleasant nice, kayla =)

I would have to say that my husband is my best friend. We have been together now for 12 years. We have been married for almost 10 years. We have between the two of us 8 kids. We share everything, our thoughts and feelings. There is nothing better than to have a spouse that is your best friend. I trust him totally and completely.

You have shared a lot together and of course that leads you to see your other half as your best friend.
It is also a good thing to share your thoughts and feelings to one another. It is not good to have secrets or to hold anything back. You need to communicate in a marriage for it to work.

my boyfriend is my best friend. I feel like I could tell him anything that I am thinking or that is going on. I feel I can tell him everything and anything without worrying about what he will think about me. We have no secrets in our relationship and are beyond open and honest with everything.

My partner is definitely my best friend. We do everything together, we share meals together, we shop together. I feel comfortable telling her anything. I think romantic relationships work better whenever you work together pretty equally with your partner and get along well with them. I don't think you can have a great romantic relationship if you really aren't great friends.

I too, would have to say that my husband is my best friend. I know that I can talk to him about absolutely anything without fear of him judging me unfairly. I also know that I can count on him to be honest with me when no one else will. I have to say that aside from him my mother and sister are my other best friends up on the list so to speak. I think it is because we spend so much time with these people that we become intuned to them, we understand them better than anyone else and because of that we feel more at ease with them than with anyone else.

I do consider my husband to be my best friend. I don't know anyone else that could fit that role anyway. If your spouse isn't your best friend then there is something not making sense there.
You have a life long partner that you can turn to when you need them. Sure, it is alright to have some outside friends for companionship once in a while but you need your better half more over.

Yes my boyfriend is my best friend. We do alot together such as grocery shopping to eating out and alot of other things of course. He is my world and without in my life im not sure where i would be. My parents dispise him and hate him but oh well its who i choose to be with. I also have to say that my mom is another best friend we do alot of shopping together and i like that because i dont have anyone else to do that with since i dont have really any more friends. My boyfriend would do alot with me if i asked him, but im sure he wouldnt want to do all the things i do so we just do things on our own as well. I do love him though.

Good to know that so many people are fnding their best friend in their husbands.I am not that lucky.Though I wanted this to happen. When we started r relatonship due to a mishap in my family,we had to stay away from each other. Then I had conceived and later there were so many changes that I was going through internally. My son needed attention,I was not able to juggle with taking care of little one, household chores and bringing myself back in shape.
And now I feel that we stay together but there is a sea distance in what we think.I hardly get him to hear my feelings.I have so much to share but either he is not their or he listens just for the heck.
