well i have 9 in that star.. i think it`s for how much and how quality you got in your posts. If you post more, you`ll have more chances to more + from the people, no? So, i think it`s calculated something like how much do you post/day, + how many + do you get / day... but i`m not so sure..

I have like 7 in my star. Sometimes it is a six I guess it has to do with how well I do answering others and so forth. I have tried my best when responding to others and I try to explain myself the best way I can. I hope your number gets a little higher but than again I do not judge a person by their star. Reminds me of the Dr Suess show who has a star on their bellies! lol.

I have 8 in my star, although I don't really take any notice of it. As far as I know it relates to how many people have rated your discussions (+ or -) but whether it affects your earnings I am not sure.

I am on 7, as you can see. I had got six stars in less than 110 posts but since then I think people are not liking my posts very much, which comes as a surprise because I have started concentrating more on quality after that.
I think there is a luck factor to it as well because it depends on whether people actually read your post or not and how do they like it.

they just rate you on your discussions on how good they are..ive had the number four star and now i have the six. but im trying to do better but nobody really seems to be answering the dissusions but thats probably cause not that many people are on during the weekend..

It all depends on how often people rate you either positive or negative. If you have little time to start out with, you will off course have less people rating you which makes your starrate lower. If you are an active, respectfull and friendly mylotter getting a star of 9 or 10 shouldn't be a problem.
If you hover over a star you can see the percentage of positive ratings (for example 99/100 or 70/100).

Mine is 8 stars already maybe because i post a lot of answers to certain topics here . I am just a newbie like you, i started last Monday and i can say that i am happy about my progress here in MyLot.
I don't know what stars here means, i don't mind even if it's low, because i don't think that stars has something to do to add points to your every posts. What i know is that some people here will respond to your answer and give you comments and at the same time, you can be voted as BR.
I also like to give my remarks here specially to people who answered my question. I will just give some more time for others to reply before i give my BR to them.
