I think both are well built. It would depend on the style of vehicle I was looking for and I would research which was safer and go from there. Of course price would enter into it for me right now cause finances are tight too. But I know people who have had both brands and have nothing but good things to say about both!!! I am really fond of Toyota right now for being the forefront and leader in hybrid vehicles, and that is important in my opinion right now.

Most of my cars have been honda, except the one I just bought which is Nissan... I've never owned a toyota... I've been a big fan of Honda & Nissan... Both have been great for me... I still have the Honda Civic I bought in December of 1999... It has little over 300,000 miles on it & still kicking pretty good...

My family has had very good luck with the Honda Accord. We live on the West Coast of the US and so do a lot of driving both in city and on hwy.

I don't know much about Honda cars but I do know some people that own them, love them and wouldn't buy any other. I never realized that the Lexus cars are also built by Toyota and that is where they trickle down with some of the body styles and interior designs.
Me, myself I have owned Toyotas as long as I can remember. I started out with the Corollla and have since been in the Camry. I think I am actually on my 7th Camry...I absolutely love them! They are pretty affordable, comfortable and dependable. I have never had an mechanical issue with any of mine...knock on wood...LOL! Many people who have been in my car or see it comment on it. I don't think I will every stray from Toyota.

I am sure you could ask anyone who has a specific car if they prefer that brand of car over another and they would say yes. So I think whatever people are driving is what they would say...LOL! Kinda a funny thing but I am sure if I was on my 7th Honda I would say I love them...LOL!

I'd probably go with a Honda. I have a Civic and it goes on like 48 MPG! Which is excellent. I hope to continue on with Honda until my car turns to crap. ;D Hey, What's civic backwards? XD

I like the looks of some Honda car models but if I have the chance to own a car, I will go for Toyota.

My car is Toyota brand and I could say, it is good. Though we bought it second hand but still working very good at this time. Toyota brand works perfectly fine with us. I am not driving yet but my hubby does use my car often. It is very economical on gas. His car is Ford, but it uses a lot of gas, and this Toyota car had helped us saved gas that's why we used it often than the Ford. I have no idea about Honda because we don't have that brand.

I have had both an Accord and I am on my second Toyota. I had the Accord first and then bought a Solara which I drove the crap out of and had for a couple of years. I got rid of it with 250K miles. I bought a new Camry well now it is 2007 and I have 42K miles on it. I absolutely love it. My next vehicle will be a Toyota. They just drive so smooth and seem to last forever. Now if you are getting leather you need to think about it too Honda has nicer leather than Toyota.

Well I think Toyota and Honda are targeting very different market. Toyota is the more family orientated and Honda more towards the youngster. Honda is target more towards racing but Toyota is more fuel efficient.
I have a young daughter I think safety and space is more important that speed and power. I would choose a Toyota Wish over Honda Stream.
