I am curious. Anyone is using Netscape browser? Netscape browser is quite famous in the past but now I seldom hear people talking about it and it seems that Netscape browser is not that popular anymore.
Are you still using it?

Netscape is the first internet browser in the world but unfortunately nowaday it seem was being forgetten due to strong competitor appear. Firefox now is control 70% of the market and they are keep improving the feature. Netscape are closing down.

I used to use Netscape while Firefox was still in 0.6+ beta. It was pretty light weight, fast and stable. Seeing your post made me interested so I was just about to download it but it seems like the joined or got bought by AOL hence the downfall of the browser I guess :P
It was great in the past!

No, that's not true. Firefox is not Netscape. Possibly some code snippets from Netscape is in Firefox. I didn't even know that Netscape was open source, hence it's very weird to hear you say that :P
As far as I know Firefox is the daughter of Mozilla (which indeed was very similar to Netscape, but not the same. Even less the same; Firefox).

it's really a long time ago when i first used the netscape. i almost forget what the browsing surface looked like. and few people now mention it any more. sometimes i do think it is a bit cruel for something once popular to fade away later.
