You're not getting old at 36! I can remember being 36 and I was still taking courses for my work. I am still doing it now 20+ years later.. To me life is about learning, not necessarily all about academic things. I have taught myself computers and how to use the Internet and how to create an on-line business. I reckon, I am still learning! . Derek

Go for it it. DO it. Live it. Oh if only we had all grabbed the bull by the horns and done what we really wanted at 36 and run with the dreams. No you are not to old and if you put it off and put it off one day believe me you will regret it. If you went back to school now how old would you be when you qualify and still you would have many "working" years ahead of you . Stop talking/thinking do do do !

my mom went to nursing school after age 60.. it really depends on how your health is and if you can handle it.. if both are good who cares how old you are?

Hi bombshell! You should definately fulfill your dream! You are by no means to old to be what you want to be. You have a lot of living left to do. Your worried about your nieces but by being what you want to be..you will be able to help them more. You'll be making more money to contribute and you can help them with their studies. Please chase your dream friend. Don't live with regret.

Getting old at 36? NO WAY!!..No matter how old you are anyways, you should continue your dreams, try your best. If not, you will live with regret of what you wanted to do. Show those nieces of yours how its done and set an example.
I was older than you when I returned to school and soooo glad I did! I also know of elderly people and one in particular who was 78 years old attending university just because she wanted to say she graduated. Get your education, not only to improve your lifestyle but to give yourself inner happiness and a sense of pride.

Your welcome, I hope you are encouraged enough to go..All of you can get your education. Dont hold back yourself to help your neices. That is their responsibility but if they need help along the way, you will be better qualified to do so.

Hi bombshell,
You are still young there...life starts at 40! hehhee!
Hmmm...try to evaluate what your heart desire...there is no age limit in education! and if you really want to finish it, I am sure it will not take you too long to graduate and later on you can help your nieces...But, if you are contented also to help them this time and just postpone yours, that will also be fine! Just hear what your heart wants!

There's no word too old for studying, as long as we still live we are learn from it so why don't you just continue your study right now, and achieve your dream as pharmacist, it's not too late after Learn and study is a knowledge that people still looking for until now, and don't give up, there is no smart people in the world, the difference is they know something faster than others

At some point each of us must become responsible for our own life. Time to finish what you started and let your nieces work on their own goals. As you know time is
often not spent as you wish, somethings have to be put off. So do your own thing.

there is an old Chinese saying.live old ,study old ,maybe I can't express it as its original connotation.but I think it's right to live with study however old you are.In addition if you study something you like ,it is enjoyable.you just need to overcome a common problem that's your age

When I first began my bachelors degree, I learned to stay up late with upper classwomen, sleep late and skip classes and made terrible grades. Then, when my kids were grown and I was 38 or 39 years old, I went back to college to finish my degree. I "re-took" the classes pertaining to my degree. I was working full time when I began, and studying was difficult for me as all I had read for years was sci-fi and romance novels. I had to learn to retain what I read. Anyway, it took me 6 years to finish my degree, but I have a diploma to prove I did it! It's never too old to learn!

It's a good thing helping our loved relatives to finish their schooling, but it's also a good thing to continue with studying specially that you have the capabilities of providing for your own schooling.
Learning is a great thing.
Fulfill your dreams.

Education or study is not an enc but a means to the end. Hence there is no late so far your education and study goes. When I was doing my Master's Degree we had a classmate and she was a mother of a 18 years old daughter. She was friendly ans we were all friends regardless to our age difference and she too never felt it awkward and would come to the class regularly.
Keeping this example in view I say that you just go ahead and complete what you want to do.

hey, studying again, regardless of age, is for all. i mean as we grow older we are becoming more mature and responsible and its the best time to add more knowledge. its not too late to study again and finish your school, as long as you have the resources to do it. and while you're doing it you still can help your nieces..go for it girl!

if i were you , i will continue to finish my studies. 36 is not really an old age. life starts at 40 so you have 4 years left to achieve that dream. in life, you have to have at least a goal that will fulfill yourself. so that you will not regret when your older .
