Ps3, Xbox 360, or Wii... Which one should I get?

i dont like the wii. yes its fun when you play at a friends house or sumthin but thats it. its more of a novelty. that leaves you with xbox360 or ps3. gamestop has said that if ps3 sails don't pick up in 09 they will drop the system. you don't want to buy a system that has no games. i think that leaves you only with the xbox360 as your only option.

First welcome to Mylot (i noticed u're new here 
), now about your question. I'd say it all depends on what type of games you like. Because remember, not all games are available on each system. What I'd suggest you do is go to a store that sells video games, or something like Best Buy, and look at all the games in each section. Then when you see which section has the most amount of games that you like, settle for that console. That's what I told my brother to do, and he at first settled on a WII, now he went and got a ps3 and an xbox 360, so that he doesn't have to decide. (he's a serious gamer)
But yea, seriouslly, check out what games are available for each console, and decide that way, that's the easiest way to decide. If anything you can always get one console and get another later on down the line like my brother did.

We have a Wii system and we have never regretted buying it. It has a lot of great titles and you can find games for everyone in your household for it. It gets you up and out of your seat and is loads of fun. I do plan on getting a PS3 next. I just have to save up for it. Good luck in your decision and welcome to myLot!!!

I think for the time being you could get xbox 360 or Wii because the hardware is already hacked.
-lots of homebrew opensource program you could play with
-Illegal pirate games are available.
Else if you don't care about the price to buy original games
-Then the first choice would be PS3.
-Act as a media centre for HD movies.
-A Cheap and the current most advance bluray player in the market.
-the most Powerful console in the market.
By the way you may want to consider a Sony Psp Also :
