I first want to thank TaskR for pointing me to this forum. I now want to pass it on to everyone else, whether you are an Obama supportter or not, you need to see this. Obama needs to see this stuff himself. He would do well to not only distance himself from it but publicly and openly denounce this forum by name.
A number of threads stood out so it was hard to pick just one to use an an example but after a serious vetting process, I think this is a good introduction to what is inside this place.
In the "Obama youth brigade" section. the title of the thread, and it is a sticky, "List of parents who don't support Obama"
Opening post:
"For the youth today it is hard to understand parents who don't support Obama. This is common for many of the young people of this generation, just as the youth back during the civil rights era had parents who just didn't understand the racism like they saw it. Many of you are struggling with the fact that your parents just don't get it. They don't feel the same about Obama the way that you do. They still cling to their old ways of guns and bibles and greedy capitalism. You know better. You know that Obama, and the Democratic marjority, can run things better than those greedy corporations. You know that the best way to run an industry is to nationalize that industry.
That is why this thread has been created. For you, the future of our nation, to let us know who your parents are. Tell us the names of those who do not support Obama the way that you do. Let us know if your parents own guns, or wish ill will toward the government. Let us know before it is too late for you and too late for your country.
It is the patriotic thing to do. Let the government take care of this problem for you.
List your parents name here."

I saw that site last week when TaskR brought it to my attention. It scared the you know what out of me. There are always dislusional people on all sides and parties but these guys take the cake. Offended was an undestatement. People who think like this are not only dangerous to people but to this country as a whole. Lets hope they stay in their little forum and leave the rets of us alone.

He didn't start this thread to attack Obama. He did this to expose the people on this forum and show how frightening their behavior really is. Obama is notoriously bad at denouncing people like this until he is beaten about the head and neck with them.
The entire forum is disgusting. I couldn't believe it was real when I first saw it. I can't even bring myself to read the disgusting crap they post.

I am not talking about xfactor, I'm talking about the people on the forums. It is painfully obvious that they are being sarcastic.

I do not think it is so much about Obama and what he thinks or endorses. Because if Obama saw this site he would be upset too. It is more showing you what some of Obama's supporters think. And it is scarey. Did you see the one where they saying " for the white people that voted for Obama", We will kill you last". Now do I believe that is actually going to happen? No. But just like you have the KKK which is a hate group....these people are their own little hate group that should not be taken lightly.
THey are making Obama look bad. It is wonder they do not realize that they are actually hurting him and not helping him. But there is always a small group of nuts in every bunch. Nothing really you can do about it.

What is scary, is that some kids would actually "turn in" their own parents! To be so far removed from what is going on in the family to actually believe that stuff and turn in your own parents for an opinion! Wow! Talk about Big Brother is watching! Really scary!

Actually that is what happened in Nazi Germany and in Soviet Russia. Children were so indoctrinated by the State that they actually turned in their parents as enemies of the State. Sad by true.

Ain't politics fun? This is obviously not an Obama sanctioned site. Get real people. I even watched the little Utube thing on the registration site. When you actually go to Utube where you can see it full size, it is a Hurricane Katrina Issue. That is what the small print says when it comes up to legible size.
I did not vote for Obama and I could easily say that this is a terrible thing that he is doing etc. etc., but he is not doing this. This is being done by a bunch of misfits using his name. Someone needs to bring it to the attention of his people and have it pulled from the net as slander. This can be and should be done.

i was just re reading 1984 actually listening on my iTouch on the commute to work. it is funny because the children are the ones who turn in the parents to big brother. This is nothing new but it is scary just the same. this does go hand in hand with the socialism agenda the current administration is trying to achieve. The best situation under this administration is 50% of the people supporting the 50% and once 50% are on the public dole they will never come off. a permenent welfar state. There is the hope they all voted for.

It may very well be sarcasm, but I think it pretty well sums up a troubling sentiment and oncoming trend.. (I've read the book of revelation/apocalypse, actually understand it (and wrote a book about it) so let me tell ya, the twilight zone is not that far off.. And the liberal direction moves us in that direction faster than the conservative.. [albeit 'world peace' will be declared first, and an x(?) u.s. president will step into the u.n. which will be a true world governing.]

I wonder if this how the Nazis started, sending out letters to school children and asking them to list their parents who did not support Hitler. This does sound dangerous even if it were done in sarcasm. I know that those who support Obama, the Obamamites say that this was set up by Obama's enemies to make him look bad, but think what if was set up by Obama supporters themselves?
After all those who are against Obama have the rest of the internet, OnenewsNow, and other sites that tell people that Obama is a socialist, is far to the left, etc. and is for giving special privileges to certain people, and spending money you do not have, etc. So there is no need for them to start a forum.
But if you want to scare people in supporting him and make them think Big Brother is watching them, this is the way to go.
Remember it worked in Nazi Europe. It could work in the States as well.

I think an Obama supporter wrote that, one of those who wanted Obama to be elected at all costs and would stop at nothing to get him in the White House and one who was off the deep end, an evil person. I mean it is easy for you to think that a Republican =like a McCain or a former Bush supporter writing this, but suppose someone read about Obama setting up youth camps, and took it a bit farther, maybe someone whose grandfather or great-grandfather was an immigrant from Nazi Germany, like someone formerly in the Hitler Youth.
Now I have read a lot of history and movies about pre World War II and it does not take a stretch of the imagination for this to happen. Of course, you are so interested in insulting people that you really do not care. What you should do is to find out who started this forum, find out if it is an Obama supporter, and maybe find out if Obama is behind it. If you suppose that Obama knew nothing about this, and that the one who started the forum was trying to get points, then Obama will make a statement that he does not approve of such misuse of his image.
If it is as you suppose a Republican, then who is the leader of the Republican party can take steps to get that site removed, because that person is insulting the office of the presidency of the United States and making America look bad.
Me? I do not know whether this site was a sarcastic site set up by Obama;s enemies or friends. I gave a theory of how totaliarism started and I know that there are people like you who are so intent on insulting people who say what might happen that pretty soon, those people stop warning others.
Oh let us suppose on the rare (see former word is in bold letters)chance, this does happen that children will have to send a list of those who do not support Obama and that camps are set up to inter such people.
I hope you do not blame those who told you so.

"Wrong. Socialism is good because Obama is our smart leader. As he is god incarnated he is also immortal and will lead us to victory for eternity!
Now go kill yourself racist pigf***er hick."
You seriously think an Obama supporter wrote that? Give me a break.

I agree with what a few others have said, that forum thread (maybe the forum too, since I haven't looked around as much of the rest of it as I'd like since I don't have time to at present. The fact that a person can actually register on there proves that it's a real forum...can anyone get anything solid on the copyright of the site?) was likely created in order to spread propaganda. Considering the huge amount of members active there at any one time, however, pretty much cancels out the possibility that there are NO people on there who're as whacked as the propagandists themselves. Just how many is hard to say. Looking through the thread, I see some people who're upset by that list...the word fascist comes up several times -- and justly so.
I also agree that it's highly unlikely that our President actually knows about that forum and that he sanctioned this effort. It's likely to be done by people who love division and discord...and maybe even the idea of a completely fascist President, in their own right.
For the record, I'm not an Obama supporter and I happened to be too young at the time, to vote, during the elections.
This is awful. What do you think we should do about it, xfahctor?

The last straw for me was the thread calling for the posting of license plates of dissenters. I emailed the whitehouse with a link to the forum.
I don't know if it's for real or just a parody put up by oposition, people just trying to stir things up and create hate, or a site for real supporters. Either way, it's not good and parody or not, there are people who actully think like that.

It is outrageous whether it's "for real" or not, which is something I can't seem to decide. I can see why the one poster thinks this forum was intended to be satire but the things is, whether it's serious or satire there are crazies who may take it seriously just as there are crazies on the right who may take everything they hear or read seriously.

Excellent point. That is an excellent example of the conservatives attacking anyone they thought did not support them. It is far too easy to destroy people just by naming them without any proof.
If you want to destroy someone just give an anonymous tip that he or she is a child abuser and even if the person is innocent they will still be tarred in public.

Fake or not, there seems to be enough to call in the question the forum's validity. Of course I've seen other forums featuring different topics but similar zealotry. I have to admit on that particular forum it seems some members are parodies of themselves (the avatars give it away) and there are the member titles (which we should have here instead of the crapstartacular system but fine)... those too seem too farfetched to take seriously. After that I saw some members with less posts who seemed more real than the obvious forum "stars". Without the question of fake or not, it still shows that perhaps the place is drawing real people with a like mindset as the forum's overall message. And this happens with both real, joke and fake forums (there are a few people that take TheOnion stories seriously, notably if the message is something they are overpassionate about).
Other than that X, I have one other theory. Perhaps that forum is where trolls go when they die(internet-wise of course).

I'm not even going to look at it. It would register as a hit, therefore why give them what they are going to use to prove that the site is real.
About a week ago, I read that the teens of the Nation were up in arms about the stimulus package, how they felt that they had been tricked into supporting Obama and any number of bull crap pieces of propaganda that would insence a young mind that really didn't have the understanding or experience of the political world. I thought that it was a shame to think that it was the adults, the spoilied rich adults, the spoiled rich, industry driven, "don't you dare take my money from me" adults, that would use a less educated, or inexperieced mind to turn the tide of the politcal arena around to the adults benefits. That is mass manipulation. That is a group of Republicans having a temper tantrum. That is a "I'm going to poison the mind of the young people, the future of our Nation, so I can stay fat and rich" mentality.
I'm just surprised that the site hasn't been taken down yet.

I don't think that's an Obama sanctioned forum. But yes, those people are for real as are those who make those kids march around and sing Obama hailing songs. We have seen those youtube videos. Those are the same people who immediately accuse you of racism when you don't fully support Obama. There are even people who go so far as to label non-Obama people terrorists and tell you it's treason if you post anything negative.
Yes, they do exist. Seems that the last election turned out the worst in some people. I can only hope that this movement doesn't gain in popularity. I thought we were better than ever letting something like that happen to the US.

Its someone just trying to stir the pot. I'm afraid that this presidency could end like the two others directly affected by a fear of change--Lincoln and Kennedy. I think that naming names would only serve to put us back in time, in another form of society. My daughter and I differ greatly on political views, so we don't discuss current politics, only history. And rather than start a fight, I think that the Republicans pushed through a loss this time because they realized that perhaps their best candidate WAS too old and gave him such an inexperienced running mate? The Democrats nearly destroyed their own party by attacking one another in such a negative way. This election divided friends and family in such a negative way, and this call to ask children to name names is a prime example!

Honestly, I can't understand half the posts on the forum. In what someone said the way to get what you want in life was to get an education. He or she got called a derogatory white name. I also noticed that only the ones they think are white get banned.
Seriously, how can anyone buy that crap?

Wow. I never thought this would happen. The people that actually wrote down their parents name are so parentist. (I did not know what else to write since it does not qualify as racist). Some people are going way overboard with Obama being president. Obama is a regular human being. The fact that he is part African American should not matter. The only thing that should matter is how he is going to rule the United States as president and if he will do or not do a good job.

Okay now this is going a bit TOO FAR! I am an Obama supporter and I cherish the fact that I have the right to make a choice, cast a vote and be vocal about it without fear of reprisal. How dare you or anyone else attempt to "ostricize" someone for their GOD GIVEN RIGHT to MAKE THEIR OWN CHOICES and to go another step further and attempt to get their children to publically speak out against their parents is WRONG . . . WRONG . . . WRONG. There is NOWHERE on this earth on the next where your request would be considered appropriate or acceptible.
