I definatly have a SALTY tooth, and I know that may sound weird to a lot of people out there, but I will almost always choose a salty chip or pretzel over a bowl of ice cream anyday! My favorite snacks are popcorn (cheese!), easy squeeze on Triscuit crackers and Doritoes.
What is your favorite snack food? Do you aim straight for the chocolate or dive into a bag of chips? For the ladies out there answering this, do you crave more at certain times of the month?
Please tell me your story! Thanks!

Salty tooth! Definitely, salty tooth, I'll definitely take popcorn (butter for me!) or chips over candy!
I think I have the Asian taste for sweet things, meaning I really can't eat things that are too sweet! If I eat chocolate, it better be the bitterest chocolate I can find (I love 90% dark chocolate!). And as for cakes and similar pastries, I only really enjoy Asian cakes because they are not as sweet and more about it being fluffy and creamy.
Although at certain times of the month, my salty tooth does become a sweet tooth and I'll crave my dark chocolate a lot!

I know so many people have a sweet tooth, but not me. I would give up sweets any day to get my hands on some chips. My favorite snack is chips and dip. I found some chips that were low fat, and I can't remember the brand name, because if I said it, you'd probably know which brand I was referring to. So I'm a salty.

I am definately a salty tooth. Right now I am craving something really bad. Im trying to eat better but the cravings do not help. I love melted butter on bread so I think I will have some right now. I dont think I crave it more at certain times of the month but I definately crave it more when I am stressed or upset.

I definitely crave SWEETS! My sweet tooth is so big I have to leave it at home.
My favorite desserts are banana splits, petitfores, pie ala mode and wedding cake. I don't get to attend weddings that often so I eat Little Debbie's....what a bummer :(
As for that certain time of the month...it really doesn't change but I'm not as particular with the sweets I do eat during that time.

I do feel lucky sometimes that I don't have a sweet tooth. My Mother struggles with weight issues and always complains that the one she she can't give up is sweets after a meal, so I feel a little lucky that I don't have that issue! I do like sweets, but don't have the craving.

Same here! Just today, I was eating a salty bag of lay's chips and then a candy bar right after! I guess I just like both salty and sweet.

Right now its all about salt for me. I am pregnant so I can eat anything I want . I eat salt a lot (as in in my food) for some reason nothing is salty enough for me. I also crave creemy (as in cakes with creem) things but once I see them in the shops they make me sick so I dont buy them.

When in terms of foods to eat like for lunch and dinner, i do prefer salty foods than to eat sweet foods or with sugar in it because i do eat less when it is sweet. But when you say ice cream or cake for snack, yes i do have a sweet tooth for that.
But i do not close my door for having salty foods like cheese curls, piattos, Jack and Jill chips and other spicy, salty potato chips like Pringles here.
If i were to select for a chocolate or a bag of salty chips, i would go for the salty taste first and then later on eat the sweet stuff, heheh crazy as it may seem to others but i do like both of sweet and salty snacks.

Im a bit of both but I lean more toward the sweet. I would choose the ice cream, cake or cookie every time but sometimes I do crave chips, doritoes are my fav. My sweet tooth does increase during that special time of the month.

I actually like both but do eat more salty snacks then sweet. My favorite candy bar is a 3 Musketeers bar but I haven't had one in a long time because I've been on a dark chocolate covered raisin kick instead. Most of the time it's chips that I eat, preferably Lays Baked chips. I also like buttery flavored pretzels.

LOL! It really does sound wierd, because the only time I know I have salty tooth is when am eating salty food and the other time I know I have salty mouth is when am eating som cakes or chewing bubble gum!

I have both of them. Whenever i eat sweets, i always look for a salty one and whenever i eat salty food i always look for the sweet one. So what i always do i partner them both so i will be satisfied. I guess that's what usually the type of foods when you have the bloodline of having diabetes and high blood..lol thats why i always see to it that i eat balance but sometimes i am also out of control when i eat much salty foods and sweet foods especially junk foods like potato chips, ice cream, coke and other oily foods. Having unhealthy foods makes me bulge and honestly i am scared to be sick. Happy posting.

Sweet tooth all the way. I cannot start eating cookies without eating a whole bunch. I like sweet creamy drinks too, those you get in the cooler that are milkshakes. I rarely buy cookies and cakes as I just eat them until they are gone. The only exception is potato chips.
