I have had different kinds of fish but never any salt water kind though I would love to have some. I love watching them swim around, it's so peaceful. It's very relaxing to just watch them. We have had some goldfish that have lived for 10 years & were almost 8" long. They lived through a lot of hard times including jumping out of the tank. Our one fish was named Mr. Fish, he was the oldest & largest. My kids were always bringing home fish from the carnivals so there were always many fish in the tanks. As of right now we don't have any.

actually, I don;t have a et fish although I like to watch them swim either in the aquarium or in the fish pond but I did not get one. I might be tempted to cook them. Lol.. But I like to watch colorful fishes in the fish pond or aquarium.

I used to have an aquarium and I did love to watch the fish. I had to buy all the accessories that went with it too. I added things one by one. I had a colored light in the lid.A back ground and a lot of different things in the inside it was beautiful.
My daughter had some gold fish and they lived a long time and grew to be pretty big ones too.
I remember when I had to take the grandchildren to the pediatrician they had a gigantic one in their office it covered a whole wall. It was beautiful.

I only have 13 aquariums set up and running right now so I do have a few different kinds of fish in them. Most of them are Central and South American cichlids wit a few bushymouth plecos and some pearl gouramis that are grow out fish for one of the aquarium clubs that I belong to. In one of the 10 gallon tanks I have a trio of killifish and a pair of endlers live bearers. I also try to keep live aquatic plants in most of the tanks.

I have 55 gallon tank. It has 3 huge goldfish a suckerfish and a blugill(kids caught in pond and didn't want to throw it back) I can pet the biggest goldfish. I have never senn gold fish live this long. I have had them since 2003. The youthgroup at church gave them to me after a class project they did. I love fish. They are quiet and nice to watch. I am getting ready to set up another tank for glowing and black light type fish. I love how they seem to glow under certain types of light.

I have salt water aquarium fishes. I have Dugong, a dog-face pufferfish, Creeper the lizardfish, Nim, an african clownfish which is a cousin of Nemo , and Tekla, a powder brown tang/surgeonfish which is also a distant relative of Dory .
I am planning to add another african clown fish and some damselfish (2-5) to make my aquarium more colorful.

As of now I have Malaysian green arowana, flowerhorn and albino dragon fish. It's fun watching them and at the same time it releases all your body stress.
