do you have good friends more than 5 years?

I do have a friend who is with me from the last 8 years... I do have many more who are with me...and to keep up with them either I go and visit them or to organise some get-together(Though very rare)... [I]Happy mylotting!!![/I]

Yeah, i even have friends of more than 10 years now. We were friends back in college and we have solid foundation so nothing will ever break our friendship. We communicate to keep our frienship going and sometimes we would visit our friend in group then do some bonding moments like eat and play games on the computer. Sometimes we would go out and mall hopping.

Hello cindyhxf! I am still constantly keeping in touch with my friends from way back in grade school. This is also true with my friends from way back in high school. It's really great to have social networking sites like Facebook where we get to see each other and get updated on how we are all doing. At times, we would meet up to catch up on time. Others, I get to see and spend time with on almost a daily basis. Cool huh?

Hi there cindyhxf! Yes, I have friends for more than five years, my childhood friends . We've been friends for 20 years now. Some of them migrated to far away places but we still have constant communication. We call and we email. They always come home here in the Philippines when there is occasion. It is just so wonderful to think that we grew up together. We saw how we grow and how we became mature. Now, some of us have their own families. We promised to be friends for life.

yes i do have friends for more than 5 years! how do i keep my friendship for a long time? that's easy! 1) if they text me, i don't reply. 2) if they call me, i just reply one answer to one question. 3) if they ask me out, i reject. all these years (more than 10 years), they have been doing the 3 things above, although only 1 out of 10 times i did not treat them like above. they are really good friends, right? LOL!

I have two friends that I have known and stayed in touch with/friends with for over 20 years. It is amazing, but true. I have a hand full of close friends and I have know all of them for over 5 years. It isn't hard to keep friendships going. Keeping in touch, having the same basic background and beliefs, etc. Sharing your lives, and doing things together when you can!

Hi cindyhxf, I have friends from school in Ireland; from my accountancy study days; from my time at university; and from working in Ireland, England and Germany. I value the school friends more than any group as we go back years and when we meet there is no sense of competition or envy. We all accept each other for who we are and even if we don't meet for a year, it seems like we just met yesterday. Nowadays, Facebook, MSN and Skype are making it much easier for us to keep in regular contact, so it's not a once-in-a while thing. My old school friends are there now every week. Have a good week. i have friends that i've been friends with for over 30 yrs. the thing is to be honest with them and never treat them different when you are around other friends. and always be there for each other

well my childhood friends are moron and freaks i dont wana recall that friends but i am thankfull to god my college friends are someone like i will cherish till i die sweet,innocent,helping etc etc.so technically they are my friends for more than 5 years and they all by best buddies.

Until now we are friends, though the distance between us is great, we keep our communications line open through texting or calling each other. if we need help, we just text each other. have fun posting!

Well, I have a lot of Friends. Some of them I have had the pleasure to know quite a long time, and call friends, while many others I would only consider acquaintances as well. I guess the main thing is when each person grows up you develop different personalities, get married, move away, etc. but I do have some people I know who I can also consider a friend I have known over 20 yrs. as well. I have two very good friends that I have known all my life and now with Facebook and the others I have been able to re-connect with many friends I'd long lost touch with. For us Baby-boomers it's another 'miracle of modern times' (as my mother used to say!) Still it's true that people get busy and cannot spend the time to connect with friends. Still, I may write a joke or a prayer and sent it to EVERYBODY, that way they know that I'm alive and well enough to get to the computer!!

i have a friend more than 10 years,we didn't in a city ,even in different country,we meet once or twice a year,usually keep contact on internet,just like OICQ ,MSN,EMAL. it's hard to keep contact all the time ,but maybe we remember each other in our heart,no matter how far we're and how long didn't see each other ,we find each other finally.
