Curently there is 2 producer for computer processor..
Intel & AMD .
Intel-Flagship-Core 2 duo,Quad core 2 duo,I7 Quad core
AMD-Flagship-AMD Phenom x2,AMD Phenom x3 and AMD Phenom QUAD
Currently there was a saying that Intel has the fastest CPU in the planet.
I would say differently .I believe AMd has the Market Ninch compared to Intel cause
of they Intergaration Of GPU and Cpu unit under they product to boost performance on the computer platform..
This One,I will support amd will WIn in the Long run.
What would you say?

Some people strongly suggested me to use Intel Pentium instead of AMD Athlon. I don't know why, base on its durability I guess. For me, that really depends on your luck, because I have a desktop which is Sony Vaio, I just got it burn out yesterday with the cpu PROBLEM. So, there is no sure answer for it.

I use pentium four processor in my computer. Its speed is two GHZ.The widespread processor in the world is dual core or core 2 duo processors. These processors operate at twice the speed mentioned. There has been no problem with my processor till now.Only because there was lot of dust on the processor the smps got fused.

I personally use an AMD used to use pentiums but stopped using pentiums as I find the amd runs the applications I want and is just as quick if not quicker.
Pentiums are also alot more expensive
I think pentiums are marketed far better than the cheaper AMD alternative and I personally dont want to just pay for the pentium name.
Tho one thing I will say its not just the processor that affects ya speed.
Its just one cog in a large wheel, but yeah I always go for AMD as opposed to pentium.

I am currently using ADM Athlon . It does not differ much from Intel in low level applications (i.e. applications a student is concerned with) .
