17 yrs old guy.....killed 15 people because of the depression!

Uhm.. yeah I heard about that too. Creepy though. At times like this you can't expect more worse than that. Nowadays teenagers are getting more obsessed on the cyberworld to the point that they can never know whats real or not. But I think the parents have a big responsibility on this kind of matter. Maybe that boy just don't get much attention from his parents.

I think its too easy for society to blame things like computers or games or comics ... we should be more able to help children from an early age to ingratiate themselves better into society and for us also to be more understanding and compassionate for others when they are in turmoil .. computers are the new movies were the new comics etc etc yes i know some can become affected but the point is surely we should notice this BEFORE they are affected and not blame things after ..

thats just awful! And kids I dont care what age need to get away from puter several hours a day and not get so into it that they do this kind of thing!

it is really worst on the boy´s part, i dont understand why people just remove frustation on others first of all and killing is really worst. this kind of things started first at virgenia tech in US and there also the boy had killed various students and it is so bad all students are some parents children and those parents have lost their childrens for just unnecessary and silly reasons, due to a phsyco guys like this. and it is really harmfull if we have this kind of violent students in an institute and the management have to do some thing about this before taking childrens. and morever it is always better for parents also to keep their harmfull gadjets away and securly away from childrens. it really scares as even we have to send our childrens for school and if we find this kind of students there it is going to be more harmfull.

wow..i guess for addicted,i think..i am not that obsess to kill people just i can't get what i desire..be patient an work hard to get it,although you have to wait some time to get one..

I feel that its not the video games or the the internet, I think it has to do with a persons personal demons, Because I am on the internet consistently I don't have those kind of those thoughts and go through that kind of depression. I think it also has to do with how a kid is raised and it also has to do with the person gens.

computer and internet are very useful, but if not used properly it's dangerous. he is a game addict, he spends too much time on it, the game has replaced real life. they might lose connection because they couldn't afford it, that's why addiction is dangerous. he can't accept facts of life anymore. parents have to be careful watch what their kids are doing online.

It was a very tragic incident.Many children spend their time in computer.Computer is not bad.The bad thing is that now most of the parents don't give time to their children.So the children feel loneliness.It creats depression among them.Parents should give some accompany to thewir children.

well i guess it all's fault. they have done things in excess that's why it happened. its all about self-control. i mean the computer is just a computer and the one that manipulates it is the person using it. while the person is using too much of the video games, the parents i guess never even tried guiding his son. but i know its bad to judge because i dont know what really happened but just the same anything excessive can give bad results...tsk tsk tsk

Wow, this is actually pretty scary. Computers were invented to help us on our daily life or on researching. Now, producers take the advantage of computers and develop playing games. Because of these playing games, people have been killed, just like in this article. This is surely not the first one, but I hope this will be the last one. People are not meant to die just like this. The people killed may have a bright future, we never know, but it is always a good to give them another chance.

what does we think of growing up? is it easy or full of adcentures? those we must think more it is good for our growing

even though he is 17 years old but his heart may be only 10-13 because a man with 17 years mind wouldn't do it like this so when people feel he or she grown up may be he or she is wrong

I don't think that anyone can really blame a pc for someones choice to kill a bunch of ppl. Obviously this guy had problems and decided that killing ppl would solve it. Frankly, I do not attribute it to depression. I attributed it to the addiction to games. The guy is probably too involved in the game such that he loses his sense of reality and behaves as if he is still in visual world. It becomes a habit and way of life. So sad on the addictive nature of gaming.

i think some people will be crazy and do crazy things no matter what they may be obsessed with.. if his parents had never let him get obsessed with the internet/pc he may have just found something else to get obsessed with.. so its not the internets fault.. i do think his parents may be to blame somewhat for not watching him closer but some people thats impossible to do

Killing innocent people how scary and dangerous. How about the guys life now he has spoiled himself. That too he is only 17 sure it is the fault of the parent who has not given much attention when he is in computer, they should have stopped him. keep mylotting and have a nice day.

Why computer is to blame? He became sort of addict and could not control his anger and frustration for not having connection. This is too much. Bang own head on the wall instead but why kill innocent people? This is the height the young generation has reached. Now is the time we really saw into the heart of the matters or it would be too late.

The only person to blame directly is the guy himself. Everyone has the ability to make right choices and bad choices. He chose very badly. It is so sad he killed other people too. Being around no one else a lot of times and make you depressed. He just happened to play computer games in his spare time. He could have been reading a book or cleaning his room for fun, but there is no more connecetion there to his actions thn the computer games. He probably just need to talk to people about what was going on not keeping it in.
