Hi Mayka.....Well I am sorry to hear about your brother's illness......But be brave dear,bypass surgery is very risk free and there has been lots of advancement in this field..So long as you have a good doctor,your brother will be safe and will be able to lead a normal life soon after the surgery.......Good luck to your brother,and of course my prayers and good wishes are there for your brother and his family... PS..Sorry for the delay in replying to this post.Its very hot here,and yesterday evening we had unexpected heavy showers accompanied by thunder and lightening....And our power supply was disrupted(as usual),and was restored only 10 minutes back.........

I am sorry this happened. But with advanced technology I am sure your brother's going to recover soon. After surgery recovery needs time and he has to go through a strict life style change. This is also true for each of us. Your brother will be in my prayers. When is he scheduled for surgery? You all take care. You have to be very strong for the children and family. I am so sorry to hear that, Mayka123. It sounds like a very serious surgery with potential risks. Luckily nowadays our science is at such a high level that surgeries like this are done every day and people are highly professional at doing them. On the bright side; he has the chance to take the surgery other than not surviving the heart attack at all. My thoughts will be with you, I wish you strenght and good fortune.

Mayka!Your brother will soon be alrught.Don't worry.My sisinlaw's husband had his first bypass when he was 37 and then he became better after the surgery.Only thing is he just wuld not fall under any discipline after that and he is now fifty seven with a bad heart, but still full of spirit and the same irregular habits.Your brothe rwill be alright and we will all pray that he gets some fear in his system and be careful after that /after the initial recuperation is over.Do not worry;you are lucky to have had an advanced warning and this is because everything is going to be fine.

hi mayka, i will light a candle for your brother's speedy recovery. please tell him to pray also before the operation. is this his first attack? i hope he fets the operation as soon as possible. can i ask why did he got a heart attack? i really hope for the best and for his speedy recovery. have a blessed weekend ahead.

Oh my!! I definitely will pray. If you could send me a private message with his full name and what city he lives in, I will also place him on a prayer chain. Both my father and mother-in-law lived long lives after their bypass surgeries so his prognosis is probably pretty good. Lots of hugs to you and prayers for brother.

Of course you have my prayers and best wishes. This surgery has become mostly retinue these days, there is so much advancement since my hubby had it 18 years ago. He had 5 blockages and since then has lived a happy healthy life. WE made many changes if diet and exercise and we lowered his stress level which i think helped the most.

Dont panic.. our prayers & good wishes are always with your brother ! You just have to do some things.. dont panic at all..everything will be fine and keep faith in your doctor.. and just see the magic... even i had gone through same situation previous month as my grandmother had all 3 veins blocked... but everything got fine ! Dont worry.. all will be fine..
