do u often send sms to your friends to keep in touch?

I used to be a text addict before. I always keep a quote and messages in my mobile phone inbox to be forwarded to my friends. But since the birth of internet social networking site i seldom do a text chain message now.

Yeap, it's faster and just so much more easier to do when you do that. It's quick and just that much lift to your friend when they receive that message =)

I don't exchange many SMSes with friends these days, but that's because many of my friends whom I keep in touch with are IT savvy and there are other means of communications I employ to stay in touch with them. Besides email, I also use instant messaging means like Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and Skype. Some of my friends are on social networks like Facebook, and so I also interact through these means as well as share photos and videos with them. If they are offline and I want to get to them quickly, I can of course also use the telephone. So there are many possibilities these days besides SMSes, and keeping in touch with someone hasn't been easier than now, even with those overseas.

I often do it when my friends are busy with his job,such as meeting or chating.then this is the best way to keep in touch with them,you can take out your phone to send messages to your friends and your parents whenever and wherever you are.Do you think?

Yes,i ofen send sms with my friends,but most of them just send towho around me,then we can go out together easily,and we'll send sms to celebrate the festival each other.Some friend i'll use the msn or skype or send email.However i always keep in touch with my good friend

I usually send jokes, romantic sms to my friends mobile.They also love it and enjoy it very much.They also send me this type of sms.I have tata indicom cell phone.Tata indicom charge RS.30 for 1000 sms.So its easy and cheap to me to send sms to my friends mobile numbers.

maybe i should contact my friends more often to keep our friendship going on, cuz nowadays, majority people all migrate to other places to find jobs,so my old friends all far away from me, and the chance for us to being together is very slim, it makes our friendship extremely fragile, sometimes i even doubt whether it is pratical to make these contact

too ashamed to say, i don't always and frequently contact my old friends enve by phone, cuz we all have our own business to handle, there is less and less time for nurturing and strengthening the friendship , now it is a common phenomenon in our country, cuz we young people are all struggling to make a decent living ,bread comes first always

Yes!! sometimes i think that the only way you could keep in touch with some of your outstation friends is just thro SMS. If there was no mobile, then i think some of my friends would have been out of my life from long back. The only way i could stay in touch is through SMS, and what i usually do is send some forwarding messages like good moning, good night or even some jokes Sms. That way you still remain friends with them even after a long time. i will feel that so isolated without my mobile which have everything from mucis to games to dictionary to keep me in a boring day.

This is something i feel which is very important as you never know what's around the corner, therefore you need to stay in contact with them. I can't remember what life was like without a mobile phone now to be honest, i do try but it's hard.

ya surely..It is the better way to keep in touch..i regularly sms them and reply if i got any messages..I always prefer for this.. A Friend... I dont really thing that it is necessary to send messages all the time. I think there are many that send them on an hourly or even every minute even. I just think there are soem things that people should be available to do. I guess there are some people that really, really like texting and make it a big part of their lives. I'm not one.

i often send sms to my friends,especially friends faraway. and i think send sms will be better than call somebody sometime.for example, when i was in the class, someone happened to call me, what should i do? accept it in the class? no ,send him/her to say that i was in the class, and i would call him/her back. there send sems is better than call a call.

i always send sms to some of my best friends, but not quite often to common friends, but surely i will respond their sms timely. but if you send sms just for keeping in touch, i will think it is a little unnecessary. friends are and will always be friends, and there will be new friends around you, so just feel free to make friends, and choose some valueable to keep in touch.
