Are you cautious with unhealthy foods ?

I used to eat a lot of sweet, rich, and tasty foods in my younger days. I could say I had been a dessert addict, enjoying all the sweet and creamy cakes after lunch and dinner. Since my doctor informed me that my cholesterol level is a bit high, I have become cautious about things I eat. One thing I have stopped taking is butter. I have changed to margarine now when having my breakfast. Are you cautious with unhealthy foods , things that don't suit you ?

i love eat sweets too.... candies, ice cream, dessert, cakes, all sweets.... but luckily that im normal and healthy without any cholesterol... =)

Of course I am very very cautious not to dump myself unnecessarily.I like to take the right amount of food even it tastes heavenly.I never try to go overboard.One must understand what he is stuffing in,what all it contains , what it is going to be changed into and what all it's effects on our body.

There are many things in life that we have to take into account at certain stage of life. One can afford to be carefree and indulge in all the delicacies and drinks when young and carefree. But as you get married and have children you have to be more careful about your health particularly the eating habits and regular exercises to cater to the needs of the family which depends on you and which is your prime responsibility.

I must admit I am addicted to chocolate, which is a problem cause lately even the tiny bit of milk is an instant stomach ache.

i read a studyy that said chocolate is actually good for you, in moderation. I don't rememberr what it said exacly, something about endorphins or something.

Yes i am more carefull these days .. we are more knowledgable about whats good for us these days ... for me the motivation is i dont want to put on weight and i want to stay fit ..I do have an occasional lapse *

i like KFC,of course,everyboby knows it is rubbish food,no nutrition.During a time,i eat kfc every day,my weight add 20pangs,so fatty. I hate fat,can not dress beatiful colthes,my boy friend left me.so i start to lose weight..now i am thin..never eat kfc

I am not that cautious with unhealthy foods. I eat plenty of them. I just think that there are some things that are better than others. I like to eat alot of foods that are presumably unhealthy, but they taste good so I keep eating them. I do like many foods and find that variety is the spice of life.

I try to be more cautious with the foods we have in the house. I really try to watch how many processed food items I buy.

Hi greenline! I have had high blood pressure and high cholesterol for about 20 years now. So I have learned to watch my sodium and my fat intake. I am on medications to help control it but I also watch the foods that I eat. They are both under control now, but I do look at the foods before I buy them for the sodium content. I watch the foods that I know are high in cholesterol, but I don't drive myself crazy about it. I will eat things that I know I shouldn't, but in moderation. You don't have to cut out everything if you watch.

l do cautious with unhealthy food whenever at the hypermarket. l usually do my grocery shopping once a week at hypermarket. l always read their label for some good information of that products before l buy. l do eat some processed food but, in a small quantity. l usually add fresh fruit or vegetables to my daily food consume to make sure that l don't eat too much of the unhealthy food. l even had cut-down my intake of chocolate and ice-cream because they are not good to my health, too..

Hello greenline, well i think i am not that cautious on foods meaning i eat what i want to eat. But most of the things i eat are veggies and fruits and i think it will be beneficial for my health. But sometimes, i do crave for sweet things like cake, ice cream, pizza, chocolate and salads which i use all purpose cream and condensed milk. But i guess i take it lightly, not on a regular basis. Although i admit that when i am feeling down or depressed, i would really like to eat and eat all those foods that i mentioned. Happy Mylotting!

I suppose fruits and veggies are generally good for the health. "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away" as the saying goes ! Other fruits also ofcourse would have their unique health values too. Happy Mylotting to you !

nah I dont worry about what I eat, if we worried about what we eat we wouldnt eat anything with all the pesticides and chemicals that are placed on and in our foods everyday. I personally eat everything in moderation, fast food, vegetables, coca cola etc etc There are also ways of lowering your cholesterol levels exercise etc etc Just be active and also, eat in moderation.

I do the things just like that you did before .I love sweet ,rich and tasty foods very much !Just like the KFC , toffee, chocolate and so on .Though I know those will make me fatter and fatter ,and are bad to my healthy ,but they really delicious ! I can not stop eating them . But from now on , I will make strict control of my own and never eat so much unhealthy foods !

Well, due to me being Diabetic, and Insulin Diabetic at that, I do have to watch what types of food I eat from time to time, and some are definately worse than others. I find Rice to be a Big killer usually even though I have to have it from time to time. So I try to do it in moderation for sure.

No! I am never cautious about those unhealthy food. I love to eat these sweets and ice cream. I also love to eat these cholesterol-rich food. I really can't resist them because they are very tasty.

I tend to shy away from things with hydrogenated soybean oil and high fructose corn syrup. lays is now baking their chips so no more oils like that and Pepsi came out with Pepsi Natural which is a soda with only three ingredients: Carbonated water, Cane sugar, and Kola nut extract. Eating healthier is becoming easier and cheaper so I'm not too concerned with the things i eat if i just use a little restraint. I would however warn all males about the dangers of soy products such as soy milk. soy has been proven to stimulate estrogen production in males. One of the most common give a way's of a soy drinking milk are the "man boobs". The "man boobs" part is only my own personal theory, but the part about the estrogen production is true.

I really should be more careful with the types of food I eat... I'm young, so I feel like I can go over the top for now, but I know my metabolism is going to slow down. I'm slowly changing my habits. :)

I think we should be cautious about the food we eat. As for me, my stomach can not stand cold food like ice cream. If I have two ice cream within a day, I gonna be stomachache. So everytime, I want more I will recall the suffering. It helps.

i live for chocolate, isn't it true that it realeaes endorphiins and so does acutually raise your mood, especially if you are female - see we do have a genuine excuse lol!!
