What would you do?

If you started a new job and hated working there?
I recently took on a second job. Everyone has been very supportive and well wishes me, but the true is I hate the job. The hours suck and I dislike my co workers. The business is very poorly run. It has only been open for a few months but I will be surprised if they are still running it in five years. It is just a minimum wage job and I can survive without it but I will feel like a failure if I quit and we can use the money.
What would you do, tough it out or quit?

That's a hard question to answer Vicki. On one hand you hate the job, but on the other your family can use the money and you don't want to look like a failure.
I think if I were in your shoes I would try and stick it out, but look for a better job when I could to take it's place. Of course, that is easier said than done in times like this, but you never know unless you try, right?

Thanks a lot I am going to keep trying. They have given me a schedule now so I hope that it will help me. But I will keep my eyes open for something else too.

I'd be on the look out for a better job and stay there while looking. But then again I probably wouldn't be able to stay for very long if I didn't like it. I'm just that kind of person.

It is difficult staying and I end up venting and feeling bad when I come home. I am going to look out.

Hi vicki...I think I would tough it out for awhile to see if things improve. However if you truly hate going there I would quit. I think I would find something else first before I quit but it can't be healthy for you to be that miserable.

I agree that I should try to give it a chance too but I agree to look for something else just in case. Thanks
