What are you trying to make money for? Do you live from paycheck to paycheck?

It seems like, a few years ago, people were trying to make money to purchase luxery items and consumer goods...
For many people, today, trying to make money is trying to cover just the basics...
How are you doing?
What is it that you are trying to make money for?
Are you striving for anything in particular?
Are you able to save anything for later or are you just living paycheck to paycheck?

We live pay check to pay check but we try to have extra in case.... It's harder to store funds up when you have to buy therapy stuff for the kids.
The money from here was being saved for winter but now that he's laid off it'll go to cover his medicines. He has Crones and has to take tons of medicine a month.

This is the first time in years we've had to live pay check to pay check, but my husband just recently took a massive pay cut, so what online earnings I make goes to help pay the smaller bills that we seem to over look when paying everything else. Every little bit helps out when there's a money crunch!

Being employee throughout your life is kinda living in a rat race. I believe if you move where the cheese at, you will have the courage to overcome the mentality of being employee throughout your career. Only having our own business and make it successful can make us rich, tell me whose the greatest employees made it to top richest man in the world?

I moved to where the cheese was and am now looking for a full time job to have in addition to my own business because my own business is not paying enough of the bills. Good luck to you with your business. Thanks for posting.

I hope that you will eventually have enough to save so that you can indeed travel or perhaps find someone else who wants you to accompany him or her on his or her travels. Good luck to you. Thanks for posting here.

I am a homemaker and I am trying to find part time work, preferably from home, just to make some extra money to pay down some extra smaller bills. We have medical bills, nothing much, but enough to make it difficult being a single income family. My husband works for Wal-Mart at one their distribution centers and makes decent enough money to cover all of the bills and have enough to buy groceries and put gas in the car till his next pay day but there really isn't enough for anything extra. I try to find online access to certain things for free to cut costs, like cable and such. We can watch most of our shows and movies online for free. But it would be nice to go out every once in a while. So, once I can pay down the smaller bills, I will work my way up to tackling some of the larger bills to free up some money.

I think there are probably more people who live paycheck to paycheck than not. Especially now with the economy the way it is presently. Anything I earn on mylot or any other site is my play money. I don't add it into the budget of income coming in. For one is because it is very little, and for another it's nothing that is ever guaranteed.

It is good that you can have play money...
And good that you have additional money coming in...
It is very true that nothing is ever guaranteed.

What ever I make online all goes to support my household. I am still out of work so what I make online is what I have to make ends meet with. Tommorow I do have a job interview so I hope to get it then my online earnings will still go to the household but maybe a few fun things to.

The money I'll make on here is just for extra. We pretty much live in the moment day to day, and don't worry about the rest. We always seem to have money when we want to do things, pay bills, etc so we tend to just focus on the bounty, rather then worrying about the "what if's". It keeps us very peaceful.

The attitude of focusing on the bounty rather than on focusing on the "what ifs" is a good one... I am glad that you share it here.
I can see that it would pave the way for more demonstrations of providence and synchronisity... I can also see that without an attachment to outcomes you would have more peace. Thanks for your comments.
