Do you believe our country still has a chance to improve?

We all know that our economy is not that doing well. Behind this so called improvement has a lot sacrifices made, like the medicine, food and others. We don't even have a decent good news that something that could help people, instead they are showing government problems. Everyone is pin pointing every officer sited in the government that this and that which it is already annoying. Job opportunities for everyone, but not everyone didn't get the job. I mean, we are facing a lot in this country, we can also feel it but we just do what we can do so that we can live. Do you think our country has still a chance to improve despite all this mess? Do you think our next President would be able to do something than the others? Or this country will be as it is, some government officials stealing Philippine Money, Lots of job loss, and others. Share your idea about this. ^_^

yes of course, we can still see some changes or improvement in our country. but it will need our help. it will not happen if we just all wait for it. we must do something for our countries. but the question is what is it that we need to do in order to help our country to be able to rise up again.

i think that the officials can only do so much. there must be among us people who will be able to come up with something that can help our country. not only one person but random people who will just come up with certain talents and discoveries to offer to help our country. like we have to find some people who initiate or start some program to educate the youth like in technologies like what they did in japan. and offer better system in our schools and in our workplace so that people will be able to use their time more wisely and they will learn more faster and also that people will enjoy their work or job so that they will not more focus on the salary days but will be able to enjoy giving their best in their line of work. if we will see that , if there will be unity among people then i know that we can improve much faster. i think it is more attitude and values, if we are able to put more good values and can create more vision into the people's mind and make them work toward that vision. then we as a society for sure will see our country as a great nation once again as we always have been dreaming for so long.

Very true. What do we need to do to improve our country. If the officials would answer this question of ours, do you think they will really make us work to sweat than them?

I think all of the countries have a chance of improving and pulling out of this mess. It will take time and a lot of sacrifices. It will take awhile to undo alot of the damage that has been done. It won't happen over night, as it took alot longer than that to get in this mess. I think the current president is taking steps that will eventually start to turn things around. Hopefully the rest of the government will respond too.

So very true. That is the scariest part. How much debt will our children and grandchildren inherit, because of this poor economy.
• Philippines

True. There were a lot of sacrifices made and yet, only a small portion is improved. Our debts is slowly increasing. I do not even know how our country will be able to pay this debts that we owe.

hello! there is always a big chances to improve our country in every different ways. its our government officials who will be blaming this all sufferings we encountered in our country. graft and corruption is one of the cause of this, other is lack of employment for their country man that is why people here is going to other places to work. there are much better works abroad and a higher salary than in our country. if our government officials will do their responsibilities in Godly way, 101% have a chance to improve our country. if our country man and government officials will helping together there will be no more crisis of our economy here and most of all many foreign countries will invest and doing their business here in our country.

OF COURSE! The Philippines still has a chance to improve! As long as there are good people who are striving for the good of the Philippines, it still have a chance. Its just a matter of time. "All that is left fr evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing." And there are still many people who are loyal to Philippines and will do everything and anything in their power to restore its rightful state. Mabuhay ang mga Pilipino!

The President just got into office in January. Fixing years worth of problems cannot happen overnight. But it can happen. Society wants a quick fix for all the problems but hardly anyone jumps to be part of the solution. Cleaning up messes take time, as any mom who has a two year old terror. You can't just wipe the bad away and replace it with the good. It takes time and patience. I think it could improve in time.

Hmm. Question. Don't you think it has been too long already? I mean, from the Marcos regime up until now, there are improvements but not that big. We are like broken radar that keeps going up and down. Weird is, a problem isn't even solved even though that it can be solved in this manner.

Oh yes a lot of chances for our country to improve. Should goodminded honest government officials with the love of our country and people would run the country, and the people would gladly cooperate and abide with the laws, alot of improvement would surely happen with our country.

True. This problem will be easily be solved if there are no thefts inside the government.

For sure there is a chance. And that chance is us - us people who are still believing that we still has the chance to improve our status. For that, we must believe in ourselves! Happy MyLotting!

Yes, I agree, we still have a chance. But I wondered sometimes, when will we ever see that chance, we might get tired of waiting that chance.

I believe strongly that there are still chances to improve our country. Our country showed suddenly a high range of development in each & every field and a sudden fall now everywhere. I would say that this were all of the improper handling activites of the government and the officials. everyone thinks to develop themselves and their around peoples and not about the country. to get a stable position and lead a healthy & happy life to our generation, we must plan each & every work organised and unity is must. Surely if every body care for the future generation our country would improve a lot.

Be positive, there are still chance we will improve. For my opinion we should not blame all things to those government officials. We are responsible for everything that happens to us. If we help each other then nothing is impossible. It is just discipline, discipline that start on ourselves. Stop blaming the government we should help them.
• Philippines
31 Mar 09
True. I am being positive about this, but, the only thing I blame about the government is that they are already stealing the money for our country.

Yes i believe we have a big chance to improve our country Philippines if all those corrupt officials change and start doing the right thing and that is to use our ample resources here in a productive way. Instead of corrupting and just thinking of their own future they should have return it back to people what they corrupt. Philippines is a very rich country because of its loads of rich resources but greedy people have kept it all by themselves that's why many have suffered the consequences. It's not too late yet to change but that's if they will realize it. happy posting!

I just wish they would really change. But, how would they change even if they know they are already making money illegally. We can't even identify who steals our money. Our country is even in debt. Giving all our natural resources wouldn't even solved it though. Hay. Wish there is something we can do.

I believe the country has a chance for improvement. If we all beleive and work for it then there's a chance. We should start simple by following rules and regulations of the country. Discipline is one important key factor.
• Philippines
31 Mar 09
True. But, we do also have a problem with the rules and regulations even the law of the country. Do you believe that something should be fixed in our law? Only a few people have discipline, and yes, most filipinos lack them, they say they have, but the truth is they don't. Hehehe.

i do believe that your country is bound to have a chance to improve on their economy. As you can see, your country is not so bad as from the ranking of the cost living in country. In my country,we are the 10th most expensive cities in the world. But our salaries is exactly the same as 50th ranking and below which led us to having difficulties living. If you do not know, your country have a lot of natural resources which is good.In the past, many countries aims to conquer over yours. Now it is up to the government on how they going to expand their economy and how to make full use of their natural resources.so good luck in your life. :]
• Philippines
31 Mar 09
True we have the resources. However it is slowly decreasing because some are using it for bad, sooner or later we won't have those natural resources. As much possible I want it to be preserved, but abusing the nature is really common and it is used in illegal ways.

Global economic down turn is also affecting my country. Those in power share the biggest cake in government projects and they placed proxies running the contracts. While the citizens of the country are finding it hard to make ends meet. We too have a new prime minister and hopefully we do see improvements under this new administration.

31 Mar 09
I see. Did he made any promise to make your country better?
• Philippines
30 Mar 09
Obviously yes! Or probably we all should. Honestly, if you won't believe in your own country who else would. I do believe that every single action people will lead to a better future. Nothing is ever perfect. If you honestly think that perfection can be found in a person's heart, you really have to open your mind otherwise you'll find yourself in the floor pleading for mercy. Just like what God does to the world, he allows us to learn from our mistakes. I do believe that eventually one day the Philippines will stand up from the fall. If you think I'm too much of an optimist, you obviously have to look in the mirror and see how much of an persimist you are. And it's always good to remember that God made disasters.
• Philippines
31 Mar 09
It is not that I am being pessimist about our country. Of course I do my share in this country as a citizen. It is just that, whatever we do, it seems like it doesn't have a single improvement. Rally is everywhere and it is just there, it doesn't improve. We voice out our thoughts and we tell ourselves this and that, but, I don't feel like it is improving in a such a way that it would really improve. We are individuals true, but, as an individual we can't do things on our own. I still believe we still have a chance, but, with all these debts, poverty and all, do you think we can take another step? All of these are pulling us back that we don't even know how to deal with it. HEhehehe.
