I really like reading biographies even though I have to admit that I never used to like reading somebody else's biographies in my childhood days. I always believed that experiences from my own life will teach me the most and I need not learn from anybody else in this world as the stories tell their experiences related to their life and their environment in which they lived.
But nowadays, I really like to read most biographies just for curiosity and learn from them - their views of life, their approaches in various situations in their life!

I like to read autobiographies more than biographies, because I find it interesting to see what the person decides to share about themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed "My Life As A 10-Year-Old Boy" by Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson of The Simpsons), because her humour was all throughout the book. That being said, biographies also interest me, but it really has to be an interesting person for me to be able to finish it.

I like to read biographies of artists, whose word I admire a great deal. For example, I have read biographies of Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso.
:)
Have a great day!

When given the choice to read, watch or listen, I tend to go the visual or sound route. It's not that I hate to read or anything. Reading is great. Reading is amazing at times. Some might even say it's fundamental. I don't know who would go as far to say a thing like that, but I'm sure someone would.
Biographies or fantastic! I really can't get enough of those things. You know what would be cool? If someone company were to create and maintain a television channel dedicated to showing a bunch of biographies all day long. It seems crazy, but I think Discovery could pull it off.
*starts to channel surf*
What the... Dude, they totally stole my wickedly original idea! I can't believe this. I knew I should have kept my trap shut around that gypsy woman the other day. I know she's behind this, somehow.
Next thing you know, they'll create a channel dedicated to showing cute animals and stuff. Somebody getting sued of this! *shakes fist in the air*

I must admit that there are times, when I feel like reading a biography. I find that some of them are very interesting to read. Not every biography will interest me, but there are some, which do.
