I tend to recycle all that can be recycled in my house. I've been a busy gradening Grandpa Bob today it seems. The mulch I use around my flower beds and garden beds is no exception. This shot is a wheelbarrow full of mulch that got tossed into my compost bin for future use in my garden. The mulch is consisted of soil, shredded leaves, whole leaves, small wood chips, and grass clippings and weeds etc. These will decompose quickl;y as they are very small. Do you recycle everything that you can at your home?

I must confess that I don't recycle like I used to. The city has gotten so picky and will not accept certain things unless you do certain things to them, they will take something one month then the next month they change and won't take it...on and on and on.

As far as the garbage company and our recycling, they take whatever is in the garbage can. They take it to a center and the employess there sort it out. I do remove almost all labels if possible from cans, bottles, and jars too for ease.

WE recycle what we can AGB and it helps that our council provides recycling containers and uplift every other week where we can recycle paper, tins, certain plastics, cardboard etc we can also recycle garden waste if we do not use it ourselves. Having recently acquired 2 bunny rabbits for Niamh I have been told that since we have wood litter that is biodegradable it is great to make into compost with their droppings as it makes a great fertiliser -I think the other half is planning on using it for his potatoes! xxxx

Well done you for recycling as much as you do. I don't have a garden so i can't do the compost thing, but I do recycle my supermarket plastic bags by using them as bin liners. I wish I could do a lot more though.

even i use the supermarket polybags as bin liners, the worn out towels are used by me as wipers. i use the worn out pillow covers as bags for keeping my electric goods like heaters for the whole summer.old socks make good wipers of kitchen slabs.old sheets as dusters...

No, most of the time we are not recycling most of the things that you could. Part of the problem is since we live in a Condo we do not have to worry about mulch, etc. and the recycling bin is no where close to where we live as well. I think sometimes when they really want people to focus more on recycling they need to find ways to make it easier as well.

Yes, I recycle all reusable containers and plastic containers with lids. I try not to waste and have switched to vinegar and many more natural ways of doing things. Have a wonderful day and it is great that you are recycling.

yeah i try to. i went to the place where i recycle things and the only thing i could not recycle because they didn't have something for it was the cans from my soft drinks. thats odd to me and bad because the cans never decompose. i'll be sure to find somewhere else to take them.

We also recycle everything from used clothing to big appliance,we even recycle toilet paper roll.we use them for arts and crafts and for our hamsters, they love to run through them.My neighbor hood makes it imposable for use to recycle they do not have any place for you to bring your used cans or anything we have to drive 1/2 hours away to recycle our plastic bottles and things like that we usually go once a month to do that

Well,I have to admit that I rarely do recycling,I am regret to say that I always throw away things as soon as I think it is useless.but my mother tends to recycle all the things.I think older people always try to recycle things that we yong consider useless.I still thing recycling is a good thing for it benefits the environment .
