Do you compose songs?

no i don't because i don't have a talent in composing songs... i love music and i love to sing but i don't know how to compose songs... my talent is in cooking and i prefer to spend my time in the kitchen rather than composing songs... good luck with your songs... take care and have a nice day...

I've composed music for almost 8 years and am still trying to make it "big" I mostly write rock and pop songs. Singer-songwriter style and such. I did a piece for a friends movie once that was nice, this post reminded me of it. I should upload and link to it one day :) Composing music for me is fun. It's a lyrical and emotional outlet, more so than just playing and singing other peoples songs. Lately I've made more songs in Swedish than in English though. Perhaps this is because I moved to the US and my band is still in Sweden. I miss playing in a band, oh well. Do you have any recorded material? :D

We each have different talents. I do not compose music but my daughter does. She is also like you in not being able to play instruments. She can play a little. She usually works on songs and then has to have someone help her with the instruments. She can hear the song in her head if that makes any sense. She has put together music on a CD and is now writing and singing more songs. I am looking forward to hearing what she will do next. I wish you well with your music. I think you will do well at it.
