i loved that item, so i bougt it...then why do i feel guilty..... have your bought anything that you liked, but felt guilty afterwards? you went to a store, and saw that your want to get that thing that you like, but by the time you get home, you realize that you don't really need it, and you find yourself comsumed with guilt. This scenario have happen to me, i bought a netgear router, because i have a laptop, and 2 desktop computer at home, but i realized that i do not really need the laptop, because i can't use all of them at once, and if i do, my net connection will suffer. And there also lots of things that i bought, that i felt guilty buying because it is either too expensive, or i am not using the item at all..have you encountered this situation? have your bought anything that you liked, but felt guilty afterwards?

hello. you are not alone, the last time i bought an expensive make up, i felt guilty soon as i paid for the item. well, i am not a 'brand-conscious' person, i usually go for the products comparable to that item with the least price but you see, there are times that i feel confident when i pay or use items like that (my moods should be held accountable for that)

Hello cuttyrish. Yes, this happened to me. I couldnt remember when it happened. I was in the mall, I bought a blouse/blouses, couldnt remember. I liked it when I was there, but when I got home, I realized that I dont need it. I wanted to cry and return the item, but there was a policy that you couldnt return the item. So, I gave it to my friend instead or my sister. I'll always remember that I should think twice before I buy any item so that there wont be any regrets.

People have an insatiable need to buy and hoard. I can understand the generation coming out of the depression and what they may have gone through. I think when we are in the shops, boutiques and seeing all the cute things available to us now days we just have to have it. It can be intoxicating. Then we come down a bit, or sober up, and realize what we really need and reality hits. Hence the guilty feelings.

I have done that before.. but also i've been on the other side of it.. seen something i've liked.. and decided in teh store that i dont really need it.. and then felt anxious that i didn't get it and that it wont be there when i go back to teh store. lol. silly. i know.. You could always return the router if you dont really need it.. I have one too.. a wireless one so that i dont have wires running all over the apartment, cause i have small kids and babysit too.

Well, it's crisis now who wouldn't feel guilty after buying such an expensive gadget when you know very well that it isn't needed at all. But I too had those moments last year. There was this time, I Was a crazy shopper buying almost all the good stuff in the boutique, with out realizing that my hubby was with me. when i finally got tired, that's where i realize how guilty i am not just knowing that i didn't stop buying but i didn't bought anything for him or eat at the restaurant at least. but that's when i decided to go quickie when he and i got home, even though i was tired, i didn't thin about it too much..

this feeling gets into me always..especially when i buy something that's a bit expensive...like one time i bought an expensive shirt..it has a designer brand..and then when i walked out of the mall into he streets i saw a kis asking for alms...i really really felt so bad..of course i gave that kid some cash...and especially now that many are getting laid off and many are having difficulty making both ends meet..all the more that i will feel guilty buying signature clothes or bags or shoes..

Well I have my own tough times as that. But I always keep it in mind and take it as a learning situation for next decision making. I don't want to make the same mistakes. So, now I rarely buy on impulse, I have to make up my mind before I step in a mall and focus on what I came for. And when something I really like comes up, I take special notice on it, but I would shop for more and compare with more choices. If I have all the reasons in the world to say, this pick is really is it, then that's the time a purchase it. I don't have any guilt afterwards usually, because I would always say to myself that I've made a good choice this time, yeah there are more good choices in the future but I never regret it. Perhaps just a matter of perspective. Ciao!

Yes i have, alot of times really...So now i think we both must train ourselves to decided carefully, consider these questions that you're asking yourself just after you bought the product BEFORE you buy the product. When you find that it isn't really needed that much that i suggest you just walk away, don't linger or anything cz you will be contemplating to buy it again or not...haha..Good luck. ^_^

Especially when I was younger, I felt that some stuff I bought weren't really what I wanted or something I really needed..
