Does money make for happiness?

I don't think money can make someone happy. If you have money then you can buy whatever you want to except for some things for example happiness, true love, care etc. It is always seen that the rich persons are mostly unhappy person because they have money but no friend, no one to take care of them, love them. We must not forget that with lots of money we also make lots of enemies. Persons who are comparatively poor are more happy person that the rich ones.

For me not all the time money makes me happy and money cannot rule my life. If you let your money rule in your life that's a sin. This time I found so many want friends to earn money on line due to recession maybe. Like for myself, I was really looking now for a job or earning on line , because my husband is jobless and our company experienced also deduction of the personnel.This time of enrollment, I'm living by faith that God will really provide our enrollment expenses.I want that my 3 kids will finish their studies.

It may not make for happiness, but it sure does help it ease the tension. The thing about being broke all the time is you get frustrated and tired. So it would be nice for a minute to have the stress of being a millionaire.

Money whether it makes a person happy or sad is secondary thing, but it is essential in everyone's life. If money is not there we can't even have the basic amenities in life like clothes,shelter, food and so on. Every one's search and hard work is all for money , and I think when you have these basic things and much more you are certainly happy. Yes, I do agree that there are people who have no peace with lots of money, but many times money might not be the only cause for them, or it might so happen that they give importance only to money. One must learn to balance all relationships in life keeping money in his hands, One must be a master and make money his slave and not vice-versa.

i think yes money does make you happy in a way you can buy anything you want that will deffinately make you happy, so i think having money is very important to leave a comfortable life, without money is so depressing people sacrifice to be away from thier family to be able to give thier family a good comfortable life by financially. happy mylotting!!!

No money don´t make happiness. But no money or correction dept can lead to broken up relationships, depression and so on.

i don't think so... money can never make people happy... just look at all the famous people who are loaded with money... are they happy??? i don't think so... their lives and family are screwed because of money... so i prefer to live a simple life and just be sufficient... i don't want to be loaded and worship money as the Bible also says that the root of all evils is the love for money... i am very happy with what i have now and i won't ask for more... take care and have a nice day...

Money doesn't bring happiness but it can certainly make misery more comfortable! We have the same reports of lottery winners here. The money just goes to their heads, I guess. I'm trying to earn money to ensure that I don't have to live with my children in my old age. I don't want to be a burden. If I do have to live with them at least I will hopefully have enough money to help out with living expenses.

I can certainly be happy without money. I do not believe that money can buy happiness. My fiance and I are not rich at all. We're simply to poor students, trying to make our way buy with what little we have. But by no means are we unhappy together. The reason why we got engaged in the first place is because we are happy together with what little we have. It's not the way we hope things will stay, but for the time being, we don't have any money, and are happy just the same. I think that it's the way that it should be for most people, whether they are in a relationship with someone or not. And I certainly hope that it is.

Whenever I ask that question, I always get answers like, I would rather have love than money. That is crazy, because you need money in order to sustain your life. Right about now, I would really love to come into some money. Money, can buy me food, which I do not have, money can pay some of my bills, and stop people from calling me 24/7, money, can guarantee that I will have a place to live next month. So for me, right now, my answer is YES, money can make me happy.

Sure we need money and substances brought by the money we made can make for happiness. I think increasingly upturn of the money made by yourself can usually make you happy to the extreme. The huge money made from lottery can change the winner's life a lot. Does it make for happiness? I think to some extent it does. And usually it means trouble. But even though, everyone would dream of becoming the winner and would certainly not think of the bad sides of winning when buying the lottery.

Yes,money is very important.With out it there is no honey or friends.If we do not have enough money,then there will be no value for us in the society.Money is how we can afford all of our wants and needs that makes us happy.I think money can make me happy but not buy me happiness. Happiness cant be purchased at a store or online, but I'd definitely be happy if I was out of debt and well settled

Hi MAllen400, I don't think money in itself can make me happy, but I do think what I choose to do with it can. For example, if all my bills are paid, then I'm happy. If it means I get to treat my family, then I'm happy. If I can give to my favourite charities, put money aside for a rainy day, go on the odd holiday or two, then I'm happy.

i believe that people here are asking for ways to make money as now it is harder to get a job. To me as long as i have enough money to live or get buy im happy, money doesn't make me happy. Im happy by knowing that the people who matter to me are well and healthy to me i would rather be alive have no money then be stuck in a wheel chair and rich. I believe that when you have money people are friends with you because of it so you cant be sure who your friends are. To me its the theory of a old puff daddy song more money more problems.

Money can bring happiness to people specially to those unfortunate but it still depends to each of us on how we will spend every centavo of our money. Helping others and sharing our blessings will truly make us happy. Whenever we have lots of money we can do or buy anything we want but we must not forget that when there's money the devil can easily come near to us. Don't let the power of money control your mind, let your heart and spirit control the money. As a christian we are taught by our God that money is not really important because anything in this world will fade. This only means that we shall not worship money than God. It's better to live a life without money with Him than to live a life with plenty of money and with Satan.

i think yes but in a different way. you know, real happiness is unseen. that happiness we feel when we get lots of money fade away very quickly. true happiness comes with great pain, that's what i believe. just my opinion! but you're also right about buying things that makes us happy. but as i have said, it's only materialistic happiness. only my opinion

money can buy many things.but there are a few things in life that money can't buy.for instance you can't buy love,true friendship,mother's love and care.there is a need for money in life.but money isn't life.so i conclude that there are some things in life which is more precious than money.in this world money is something which is needed.but money isn't life.so stop chasing money and try helping others for a change,because helping others bring happiness and joy.
