LoL....you are doing a great experiment! Thanks a lot for doing it and sharing with us! I think the person whom you mark gets point but the marker don't get any point! Well, that just my idea. I don't know anything sure about earnings. All i know is that if you write long responses with at least 6 lines than you are surely going to get more that 1.4 cents per post! Hey dude, please do let me know about you knowledge on mylot earning in order to serve them best while get ourselves paid at maximum. And please do let us know about the "best responses" too. I have told you do, but then I have been told you get paid for comments, get paid more if you get a higher rating (at least my enemies on myLot here believed it.) I think the amount of responses you get impacts your earnings (here's where I get revenge on my enemies. "everytime you rant and say how much you wish me misery, I am making money!" (evil laugh!) The truth is I do not know. The only way to find out is if you do not start new posts or answer any posts for that day and just give out best responses. Of course that would mean those who would respond to your posts and the non-friends who see your response interesting do not reply that day. That does not work. However you can try and find out if making the best response works.

I always forgot to put best response. Sometime I cant choose who am i gonna give the best response.

I forget a lot of times to mark discussions with best response. That's something I need to work on. I don't think it makes a difference in the earnings.

Hey Marcie, always experimenting, hehe. I don't think we get extra for marking them and I don't think we get extra for getting them either. I don't think anyone has figured out mylots system. That is good to hear. I have some that I need to choose a best response for also. I just have not had the time to do it or made the time to do it. I am not sure if we earn extra for it or not, but my guess, would be, no, we don't.

Actually today I received the best response from you and thanks a lot! You are right, we should mark the best response and this is a kind of appreciation to our responders. Usually I will mark the best response over a week. So it will be fair that people will have enough time to share their opinions. I love China

Hi Marcia I was told when I first started on Mylot that it does make a difference but I am no very doubtful of that. I have loads and loads of unresolved discussions awaiting best responses but I just never seem to have the time to tend to them! I keep thinking that I will start awarding them within days of starting a discussion but I never seem to get around to it or I haven't responded to every one's responses or I am still getting responses!! What a dilemma huh? LOL

I didn't know what was unresolved until I post a discussion and asked so I have started to makr best response, have been going through the old ones and marking it.

Here's a benefit to marking best response that a lot of folks don't remember.... It moves the discussion up and starts it getting a few extra replies... also adding pennies and readers to your discussions. I do mine after 3 or 4 weeks of no responses. That way everyone gets a chance to answer and it allows for that come back I mentioned.

i don't think so, how can i measure that my discussion making the best responses? we always have a responses to any discussion's we can earn also?...im only beginners for this. i dont know how mylot measures us.thank you. can you give me an idea also?!have a nice day ahead

Hi, I think it's a very useful experiment and I'm also waiting for your conclusion. I think it'a an encouragement to rate others' discussions or responses, including to mark the best response, but seemingly lots of people miss it.Sometimes I feel a bit unfortunate to see the good comments to my response without rating. Hehe. I've rated some good responses for my discussions and I decide to keep doing so . If possible, I'll mark the best.
