I know it can be very hard especially right now with the recession and people preying on other people to scam them. It's awful. On the brighter side there are a few sites out there that I have made money on. I have been in Retail for over 20 years so I am very cautious about things. If you want me to forward you the sites I have been working on, just PM me and I will forward them to you. You won't get rich on these sites but they will surely help fill in those gaps. good luck!

I have found a terrific earning scope online to earn 10$ profit on investing 13$ only. YOu can earn more by investing more. If you are really interested you can test at least by investing 13$. I am getting paid so you can trust the way. More over it is instant paying. For details PM me. I will let you know more details about it. For example if you invest 1300$ you will earn 1000$ per month. Isnt it great. But as you are scared about SCAMS I will suggest you to invest 13$, the lowest fund to invest to test the site. Plz PM me if you are ready to test and win. So dont be late.... Cheerz

I would not dare move in another country. It is enough of a workout just to move in another province. We got burnt royally and regretted it bitterly, one of my brother moved 20 years ago in California, he was lucky to have friends to help him out and prayers to take care of him, I don't envy the Americans at all. It is always greener on the other side of the fence.

Although times are tough, there is a lot of opportunity in the united states. As much as I would like to move to a different country, I might not have nearly as many oppertunites there as I would here.

I hope you do alright since you moved here. It is up to you. just keep thinking possitive. And you will do alright. Good Luck here in the U.S.

hi wendhieRN, welcome to uncle sam's place. hehe! I am a filipina too. where are you from Pinas? Yup, i know going here is every filipinos dream for themselves and for their family. And yeah, i think we came here in the wrong time, but that's good coz there's a lot of opportunities emerging with it. And us being here on mylot is a good starting point. I can see that this post is a week old now, you probably got a lot of sites that you're working on already. But just in case you're not satisfied with them, I'll be happy to help you. I am working on a business right now, where a lot of filipinos here and from Pinas are doing also. Happy mylotting!

Since you are in the USA my suggestion is base on what type of job you went there for, go online and try to apply. I would also say go back home but I do not know what situation or circumstances you left The Philippines under, but like many immigrants, given the current situation (recession) around the world, they are going back home. Hope you get a job soon.

You write English very well. That's a plus, because I know how to make a LOT of money from the internet. I used to do this so I know it's real. I worked as a legal transcriptionist for a place called Speak-Write.com. They use legal and general transcriptionists. The only thing they ask you to buy is a foot pedal for the transcription work. I don't know if they're hiring right now or not, but you could always go there and submit a resume. If you have the means, it would be an excellent idea to take a medical transcription course because there are MANY companies that use online medical transcriptionists. Typing fast is not nearly as important as typing accurately, and you seem to have a good handle on the English language and spelling. When I was doing the legal transcription, I was earning maybe $10.00 or $12.00 an hour and could choose as many hours as I wanted, up to 8 hours a day but you can also work on weekends, bringing the total hours you can work in a week up to 56. With the legal transcription, you need to have legal experience. That is easy to get: all you have to do is type up a living will, a will, or any other kind of legal document and voila! You have legal experience! But, with the medical transcription, they all want you to have either experience or training in medical terminology. Invest a little time now and I'm sure you could find work doing this.

My brother also went to the US 6 months ago and indeed he is also in the difficult side. He has a contract for 6 months but sometimes, they dont have a duty so less salary. I would recommend that you try www.odesk.com website. It is a legitimate website. I already get paid. A lot of our fellow filipinos resigned from their day jobs and prefer to work through Odesk. Try it. I really recommend it. Thanks!

Wow, you got a lot of offers, haven't you? And not nearly enough time to be putting into them unless you were to quit your job... then you would be worse off than you are now, right? Now, with your family. Can some of them work? This can be a great help... especially when you are all sharing a home, because you only have to worry about utilities for one house. As far as food and such goes... you are going to have to cut down to the bare minimum... and the cheapest stuff you can get away with. It's hard enough for one person, I know! So, it's going to be rough. That's why I suggest you see if anyone else in the house can get a job. Rely on the internet money as more of a hobby to do in your spare time. But, still go after the stuff that you can get paid for in that small amount of spare time. This can be your little bit to use for anything extra that comes up. Not much, but it's just a little to help. It takes a long time to build up to making a living of the net and a lot of prep time, that frankly you don't have right now. So, just do the best you can for now and see how that works out.

hey!..ive been on this very same quest! The thing is you cant earn that much by joining sites and all that because in the end the major profit is not yours. You should look for ways to earn using the internet so that you make maximum profit and not some company that you registered with!of course that takes money and to get that initial money you need to work , in which case you could get a job or jus work online , check out my blog i got a couple o payin sites that might help you on on this!...valuewell.blogspot.com

My husband and I had to come up with something to make enough money to keep our house until we got a couple raises at our new jobs. We delivered newspapers. It wasn't that much fun, but it served its purpose. We did it for 9 months and just recently got into a position where we didn't have to do it anymore. It's an easy job to get, all you need is a car, and it paid us about $900 a month. It didn't conflict with our normal work schedules because it's so early in the morning. It might be something to look into to make some extra money until the economy turns around.
