yes i have... once when i was still a teenager and he ended up to be my bf for more than 2 years... but then it doesn't work out and we break up... that is the only time i had ever met a person online and actually have a relationship with him... after that, i give up chatting as i'm not interested anymore and i think that it is just a waste of time... take care and have a nice day...

yes i have but i spoke to him for 11months before and always saw each other on webcam (so i knew that i werent talking to a old perve) i met him and we done it the proper way my family knew about us meeting and his dad drove him down as he lived in Birmingham and i lived in suffolk, i was only 15 and he was 16 i let my dad speak to his mum about meeting and arranged for him and some of his family and two friends to meet at my dads house, he brought his two best mates and we walked down to meet my best mates we were trying to set them up, they had spoke to his friends over msn but never met them till that day. i cant believe nearly 2years on we are still together, we see each other every week. but you have got to be careful especially being young with all them perves on chatlines. my advise would be if any one is going to meet some one of the net tell your family or friend, meet in a public place and take some one with you, dont give them your address unless you have been speaking to them for a while and you trust them.

I've never had the chance to meet up with any of my online friends. That may be a good thing now that I think about it. While most seem like really cool and warm personalities, some are a bit rough around the edges. It's the unstable friends who I would rather keep at a distance. I wouldn't want to do anything that would inadvertently tick them off, and cause them to do anything drastic in retaliation. It seems that some of them have lived a tough life, and it's made them very bitter. My hard times seem like paradise when compared to theirs.

count me in~! Yeah I have met someone in person. We did not also just meet but he became a special part of my life. I met him in an online game, or Role Playing game. Until Now we're both living together but not yet married, but soon to plan for that.

Yes I have. Last weekend I met a girl I met online. We thought we were going to like each other in a romantic since but within ten minutes of meeting each other we were like, "This is so not happening." Our friends are still mad at us and wondering what went wrong. We don't know. We should like each other by all accounts but we don't. I guess there's no accounting for pheromones.

Actually it's my lady friend who meet her Australian boyfriend
here in our country. The Aussie guy really loves her. He is the
same guy in the internet and in person. Only their relationship
did not last long.

Some funny story you have there :) For me I don't experience unlucky thing like that. I started my online experience at the high school, chatting online is one of the hottest trend at that time. But until now I just experience good thing about blind date. I even found my soul mate by online social network site, first time i know her when she wrongfully recognize my profile as her friend, she send me a message but then I told her that she's wrong, I'm not her friend, after that we're getting closer, then we decide to meet. She's even prettier than her photo, the story keep rolling until finally we got married 2 years ago.

I have, but most of my experiences have turned out all right. I met my fiance through a dating site several years ago on kind of a whim. I also met one of my friends from a website in person when she was visiting the city I live in. It was great getting to meet her in person since we had talked a lot online. Of course, there are always Internet creepers. My friend had a guy whose brother she knew from high school add her, and the guy turned out to be a real jerk. He started harassing me after trying to get to know me through my friend. My friend and I thought he was really weird, rude, and just... annoying. Then he showed up at her place of work. She was pretty freaked out by it, but thankfully he didn't do anything too bad. We've chosen to ignore him. I had to change an AIM screen name because of it. I would never want to meet him in person.
