I was shocked to hear the news this morning and thought that it wasn't true. But it was and it's really shocking and saddening. I believe the opposite of living is dying and everyone has their own time-line in life. You are right, life is so fragile and it is definitely short.. He was a great musical icon and has a kind heart. I'm sure fans all over the world will miss him tremendously.

I just heard about it not too long ago, its hard for me to believe also, I grew up listening to his music, it just makes you realize that celebrities are real people too, things happen to them also just like it does to us normal people.

I just read it on some forum and I thought it has to be a joke. I even felt silly that I looked at wikipedia to confirm it's just a joke. I'm still shocked and it feels very unreal. He was my favorite artist as a kid and I'm still listening his music from time to time. I've heard there was supposed to be a comeback tour and a new album or something.
